I can't say I like New Capenna that much, something just feels goofy. And not in a good way. But I really started to get into the detailing of the wardrobes. Lots of bits and bobs, but art deco!

My headcanon here is that the rogue from Currency Converter made his way over to the Waste Management rogue and added another body to the pile.

I have a love/hate relationship with flowers. They look so good, but they're such a pain in the ass. And this is only a few. But I think they pull it all together, and I've been really trying to lean into bright, vibrant colors.

Emblems continue to be too much fun! So much, I apparently forgot to edit and upload the timelapse of the Cat Soldier, so I will get ON that.

Seriously, though. This was a really great thing to kind of make my brain approach something from a new angle. So, if you keep voting for 'em, I'll keep making 'em!

Brimaz needs a reprint, eh? I had not realized he was so expensive. I know he's not crazy high, but it doesn't seem worth more than 8 bucks? I dunno.

Also, I won't go on about it, but I'm real tired of the humanization of nonhuman races in MTG. I think Theros had a great balance of bestial and humanoid. Compared to New Capenna cats, especially. Anyway, here's a properly beasty cat man.

You might be able to tell I was excited about this one, hence the tie break. And I think I did this justice.

I feel like Djinn is such an underrated and underrepresented type. And although, I think it's true that The Archimandrite will make Monks a little more popular, I think they deserve their own commander/lords. But that's just me.

A couple updates!

Hi all! Just wanted to share a couple things. First off, I've sent out the October tokens about a week and a half ago, but as usual, I'm having some issues with my post office. They occasionally refuse to scan items I drop off, so I have no idea if they're delivered, on their way, or out in the blind eternities. If anybody's received their Assassin and Nissa tokens, please let me know. Otherwise, I'm probably going to have to reship, and change the manner in which I ship.

On a more positive note, I'm going to try my hand at streaming! Tomorrow, from 4pmEST to 8pmEST, I'm going to be live on twitch.tv/demondramonx making a token for my Etsy store, and hopefully taking suggestions from you! It won't we Patron exclusive, but I'd love for you all to be there if you can! I've been meaning to do this for awhile, but putting it off because of all the technical bits, so I'm kind of just throwing myself into the deep end.

First 40K token, and I really had fun with it! I really like the Warhammer aesthetic, so you might see a few more of these in my regular store if I get the time.

I really dig this idea of demons being trapped in a host body. If I'm understanding that correctly, I think it's a cool variation on just a big beefy man with wings.

I started this one off as a kind of portrait piece of Nissa, maybe summoning some plants or reinforcing some trees or something. But then I thought, I'm not making a Nissa token, I want to represent the fortitude and perseverance of the forests she's making indestructible. And I always forget how fun it is to draw plants.

For Nissa's emblem, I decided to push a little outside my comfort zone, and focus on the indestructible landscape she's shaping. This ended up just being a fun meditative piece, that honestly, I probably could've kept tinkering with if y'all never actually wanted to get your hands on it. But since eventually I do need to actually print a finished product, I had to stop myself.

The real question is, are any of your Nissa's gonna be left alone for long enough to get this emblem out there?! I don't know about you, but she is kill on sight for me. So I guess have fun with your Doubling Season decks!

I'm not sure I'm happy with all the extras that keep getting added into Magic, but The Monarch is an absolutely perfect mechanic, and I might just build a Queen Marchesa deck myself now.

I went a little off base with this one. Fiora is such a fun plane that I hope we revisit, even if we don't get another Conspiracy set. And I really wanted to showcase the fun mechanical tinkering we see! So, this assassin for the queen got herself upgraded with a fully concealable blade!
