Deer Claude

Did a bit of de-stressing today and painted a deer claude sketch I had a while back. I really like how it turned out especially when I changed the ears. The sketch was messier than my new methods but one of my aim for this one was to not worry about cleaning details too much, especially anywhere but the face.

Redesign part 9

For Saeed. I went with a design akin to Sonic Mania, very round and precious. I turned the boots in sandals with the toes out because cat claws I guess so I can distribute brown colors and also making more dark brown markings elsewhere. With the glasses, I like doing the thing where the glasses’ lenses are the whole eye (?) so I went with that since it fits the cartoony style of the redesign. The scarf ends are like candy wrappers, don’t ya think?

Ah, love

How are we this week? I haven’t found much time to use brain power to do the redesign OCs but worry not, I’m finishing them all, I’m really just doing a lot of zine stuff lately and rewards. I wish I can share them. But anyway, I was thinking more and more how I want the skull to be a love one of Roshe. I realize, aside from 2 of my PMDe characters, I don’t really give my OCs romantic interests. It’s so odd given how hard I ship in fandoms often enough.

Commission prices

Well here it is! I apologize it took a while, I had many zine deadlines (why did I do this to myself) to meet this month and the next when I had originally planned to open commissions second week of May. But yeah. Again, first priority to tier 2 patrons and above. I’ll be opening 3 slots for sketch/colored and 2 slots for full render/sketch page on May 26, 10 PM Philippine time.

Tentacle arm

One of the different kinds of arms that I like to see on Roshe is a tentacle arm. It’s up there on the list with lobster/crab pincher and mantis claw. I had a lot of fun with this pose too!

Commission listing preview

I’m still finalizing on the prices (the sketch and colored sketches in particular) but here’s the listing I’ll free up soon. Roshe the Necromancer

Don’t ask me why that name, it just came up and I don’t wanna think about it too much. Naming an OC is one of the hardest haha. I changed some of the design to make it easier to draw him like that strap across his chest and the ear tip detail, not much else I think.

Redesign part 8

For Aweshock. After I made the hair curls, I decided the stripes on the OG design would look great as curvy zigzags (?) on the redesign so there’s one theme for that. Also it reminded of those sandals with long straps that wrap around the foot which looks cool but also annoying to out on from personal experience. There’s a ref with the purple hair but there wasn’t one without the clothes but I preferred the purple. I always thought red and purple are neat together.

Redesign part 7

For Zero Zivan. When I googled for this, there’s a seahorse and a sea horse and the sea horse with a space is basically the half horse half mermaid in a nutshell. There’s different takes on what to with the hooves and I opted to keep them rather than a webbed foot design. Idk it just looked weird on a horse even if it’s functional but whatever. Anyway. Claudeleth

I dug up an old WIP which I believe was from early last year. It’s from a FE3H Claudeleth fanfic that I’ve been binging at the time and it’s still ongoing. This particular scene was in one of the later chapters because it’s slow burn. And by slow burn, I mean low fire grilling SLOW BURN.

For PSIMaster789. I think I can surely say that a weakness in designing of mine is male humans. Especially short hair. And modern clothes. So yeah, this one was a challenge lol. Redesign part 5

For Cammonrly. Sometimes you just gotta add some chef kiss braids in there to add a bit of that viking warrior feel haha. For this, I didn’t wanna add too much because the blue spots (?) are enough visuals that I was hesitant on making it overcrowded. I did change the values of the palette though to make parts look separated enough when you look from afar as well additional spikes on the wings and shoulders to match the ones on the head.

For Trozte. Beard. I always wanted to see a red panda sona with a beard and since my sona/s are female and have a gender neutral design, beards don’t fit them so I was graced with this chance and went wild with it. From Kaos’ OC Lucas. I recall from a while back that they wanted to see a more feral Lucas so my goal for this was to redesign Lucas as a pokemon/digimon. So yeah, RIP his clothes and shoes however I do love the fur on the jacket so I made it a natural part of his body in the redesign, from the neck to his back and ending around the tail - the tail/dragon clearly inspired from the Hydreigon family.

Redesign part 2

From Draedpan’s OC. They have a tired and chill vibe to them so I immediately wanted to do the curly fluffy hair to express that as well as to hide a bit of their eyes. It also fits with my redesign to keep it all curls and curves, some hearts like the nose, paw pad, and eye markings.

Redesign part 1 + cooldown sketches

The first of the redesign challenge, one from Steven. I took inspiration from an unlikely source - Zeroara from Pokemon. I wanted to incorporate that design where the ‘would be tail’ isn’t actually a tail. Oh and some cooldown sketches to finish the list! Cooldown + Flayn hair? + Claudeleth fic art wip

Only a few cooldowns this week from the chunk. I have no reason to ‘study’ Flayn‘s hair physics whatsoever but it’s fun because it’s just a croissant. Last pic is of a fanart of a fanfic that I quite like called Tea is for Teacher in AO3 by Recipe. It’s an on again off again piece I like to work on and I’ve always wanted to aim it in that kind of angle.

Seashell Collector

From a character I designed and drew from a few years back, I thought it’d be neat to draw it again but in full illustration. The concept is simple: an octopus made up of sand and seawater and it collects pretty seashells. It can’t change color but it can be super flexible with its body shape like if you put it in a tank or bucket, it can make it look like the tank or bucket only has flat sand and water.

Necromancer clothing V1

This is version 1 of the clothing layers as well as testing the skeletal arm (that’s their own dead arm btw, I’ll move to different arms in other sketches). The dead arm would have a fiery glow to it the same color as the gem in the staff.

Necromancer amputee design v1?

After a few tries on how I want the overall shape of the character, the sketch on the bottom of the page was the one I was satisfied with. It started with no hair, just the normal opossum fur and some basic clothing that‘s more important than additional accessories and clothing I’ve added later on. Necromancer + amputee character idea

I had a thought of a character who’s an amputee but say this is an age where modern medicine and technology doesn’t exist yet, they practice necromancy to make a prosthetic arm (maybe also a leg?) from bones. Since I prefer drawing non-humans, what animal do you think would fit? I initially thought of a opossum but hmmm idk.
