Monday Motivation

It is a cold and very windy day here in Las Vegas. It makes me just want to bundle up with a hot drink and get under the blankets. The weekends go by oh so fast, but it was such a good one that I can't complain. It's just that you don't want the good ones to end!

Can you tell I'm feeling a little vampish today? This month is already busy which I love, but with all the news, I feel like a cat on a hot tin roof. Proceed carefully. Too aggressive and the claws might come out. Too soft and you'll lose my intensity. Take me here, standing up. Be confident, but not brutish. Don't say anything! Just let me feel it. Throwback Thursday

I can't tell you how much fun I have going through some of my old photos! I remember absolutely loving those shoes, even though I'm not a big platform heel fan. I also remember loving those stockings, although now I have no idea where I got them. At that time, I was still learning a lot about what worked for me and having a really hard time finding stockings long enough. It's interesting the things you remember. This set feels like another lifetime ago 😌.

Post Birthday Fun

February went by so fast that I didn't get a chance to share some of the fun things I got to do for my birthday! I celebrated at Lakeside at the Wynn, cocktails al fresco at the Four Seasons and we can't forget celebrations with whiskey! 

With everything that is going on in the world today, it makes me feel extra grateful for my life and the people in it. So, with that in mind, a toast to you and your loved ones. 🥃 💜

Goggle Tuesday

I got a new pair of goggles this year from Oakley. Do you think they work for me? They were worth it, I think, because I could see those obstacles so much clearer, whether it was little ski devils or those fast approaching trees. 😂I really think we need more smiles and laughter in these trying times. I hope this makes you smile and I want to say thank you for staying with me for another month. March will see some exciting new sets.

Electric Blue

This blue lingerie is perfect for those beautiful  bluebird days on the mountain and the big beautiful bed behind me. It was actually almost too high, even for me. Warm and cozy on those chilly nights looking out on the mountains. The moonlight would filter through and I could see the peaks of the slopes lit up. It was a wonderful sight. I get goosebumps thinking of it now.

All good things must come to an end. I am traveling back to Las  Vegas this afternoon from an amazing time in  Deer Valley,  Utah. 

I haven't had a chance to go through my photos yet, but I wanted to throw this one up from après-ski yesterday at  Goldener Hirsch. A beautiful old world, mixed with modern design, hotel  located mid -mountain in Deer Valley.  That beer tasted delicious by the way!

Whiskey Wednesday

It would be sacrilege to be in Park City and not highlight High West Whiskey! Double Rye! This whiskey is sweet and spicy and perfect for cold weather days. Pure White Bliss

I absolutely love being on the mountain. The amazing views, the quiet, the adrenaline rush when speeding down the slope. I was lucky to have it snow a few inches yesterday and a bit this morning, so conditions were pretty perfect. The sun even made a quick appearance to warm me up a little. Now off to soak my tired muscles in the hot tub while the snow is starting to come down again.

Smiles abound

This is the smile that I get on my face when I'm excited about something and I am SUPER excited this week about planning my ski trip for later this month!!! I'm all about the planning, and those that know me, know that I'm not joking around 🙃. I get a little overzealous about my lists and dialing everything out. I'll be skiing a couple of days, dining, sightseeing, and of course a photoshoot is planned in the beautiful home I picked out. So, I am off to run some errands and prepare! I hope...

Football Fantasy Friday

Well, it's the big weekend and I'm ready for it. I'm loving the Olympics and this weekend we get a doubleheader with the Super Bowl happening. Vegas is already packed. My festivities are set. It has become so much more interesting having the Raiders move to town. I have to apologize tonight. I've had my computer crash today and it's still being restored. It's so weird to think about how connected we are through technology and when it's gone, it feels devastating. I find it interesting how light and shadows can create such different moods or feelings. I love how I can get lost in shadows both when I'm in the photo or looking at one. It lets my imagination wander. What secrets lay in the darkness? Okay, enough with the philosophy.

Wow, I'm really going back with this set. Some of my very first images. You have to believe that I was no model and I was not used to getting my photo taken. I was so nervous and made things a bit difficult. I can't believe it went beyond these sets. I had no idea what I was doing. Do you like games? I love games and it doesn't matter what it is. I think I figured out early in life that I was competitive with everything. Lately, I have to tell you that I've really gotten into Wordle...so addictive. Growing up it was Monopoly, Scrabble, and Clue...I still love Scrabble. In the pool it was Marco Polo and Red Rover. 

Fast forward and I still love games, but they've changed a bit. I love word games and did you know that they make some interesting new adult games....
