Hello everyone, let me finally talk to you about my second game, Law School!
Embark on the journey of an 18 years old freshman going to the great Law College going by the name of Stocklingburg. Your dream? Become a Lawyer and win the toughest cases. But in order to make it as a legal practitioner, you will have to study really hard and make it through College.
During the many years you will spend studying law, you will meet other students with their own aspirations, dreams, and ambitions. How will you react when faced with all the situations a freshman in college can expect to encounter? Will you overcome the challenges and make it as a top student? Will you be fit to solve the issues you'll encounter?

In this game, there will be 4 Love Interests, with the possibility to follow 2 at a time in one playthrough.
With that said, you will also have the option to follow two LIs in one playthrough and have fun with other girls you will encounter and interact with.
There is also different plots throughout the episodes, and a big one, that will get resolved at the end.
I believe the story is what makes the game, and I'm extremely happy with what I've came up for Law School.
More of it will be explained in the introduction of the game at the beginning.

This game will be much more than my last AVN The Entrepreneur because there will be more mechanics to make it even more interactive, and it will also be bigger in terms of content.
I learned many things since I first started working on The Entrepreneur and decided to implement more stuff in my second game, and not choices only.
Because like The Entrepreneur, in Law School, choices will impact the story, but it won't be the only aspect with which you can interact with the story.

Mini-games will unlock certain relationship points, events, special scenes, special renders, and other options that will be implemented in the game.
Not only will you have to manage relations with other students and the school staff, you will also have more options and mechanics to this game that will take you from an to a whole other kind of AVN. Money management, information research and others things will be among those mechanics to ensure a full immersion.

If I've been working alone on The Entrepreneur and people generously offered their help on many aspect of the game, whether it was testing, proofreading, or coding.
This time I decided to hire a third party that will work on the animations of the game, to not only reduce my workload which will lead to quicker releases, but also to improve the quality of the game.

I've worked for the past 5 weeks on this game, it took me a while to create all the characters and their stories, especially the LIs, and I had a rough idea of the scenario but I had to develop it to make sure the future episodes all fall in perfectly.
I already know the amount of episodes I plan for this game, but I won't go into details before a, hopefully, successful first release. *knocks on his forehead twice*
I will come back to weekly updates every Monday from now on to let you know what progress have been made and where we currently are.
I am looking forward to this new adventure, and I hope you're all excited!
Talk to you soon,
MisterMaya

The Entrepreneur is now being reviewed by Steam and will soon be released on their platform.
It is very exciting news, and I'm glad to give you the first trailer of the game.
The other one is NSFW, and will be available to watch on the store page of the game The Entrepreneur.
You can watch the trailer here.
You can access the Steam page here.
While I'm reaching the end of the book regarding The Entrepreneur, I have been working on my second game for the past month or so.
Many good things will follow soon enough, so stay tuned for my second game, which will be a much bigger project than The Entrepreneur.
Talk to you soon,

Hi everyone,
The Entrepreneur Complete edition has been in early release for almost a month now, and we're close to the Steam release.
I've spent the last days since I came back in Ireland working on it, and there's only a few points to fix before the Steam release happens.
- Script errors: After collecting all the issues mentioned, I've corrected the script.
There shouldn't be any issue with the new script now, and you should get the endings your decisions lead you towards.
- Music: After exchanging for days with my music provider, they've agreed to extend the limit of songs I'm able to download per month, and I've now successfully replaced the music of the first, second, and fourth episode. I intend to finish the third episode tomorrow.
- Playthrough: Thanks to the help of Kermit, a supporter and fan of the game for a long time now, the playthrough will soon be completed.
- Steam preparations: This was probably the weariest part of preparing the release of The Entrepreneur on Steam, all the tax certifications, the images to create, the trailer, etc... We're still not 100% done regarding this part, but everything I could do on my end is almost entirely done. I've hired somebody to create the trailer of The Entrepreneur for me as I believed they would do a much better job than I would.
The way Steam works, I will need to upload the game and from the moment it is "online", Steam will review it, and if everything complies with their guidelines and policies, 14 days after the upload I will be able to release it to the public.
The issue is, unless I have the trailer and the Playthrough done, which will be DLC, downloadable content, I can't upload the game on Steam to have it reviewed. We're depending on those elements for me to be able to give you a date for the Steam release.
Realistically speaking though, it will be in August. But whether it will happen mid august, or towards the end of August, only time will tell.
Once again, I want to thank those who took the time to join my discord and notify me of those issues present in the game so I could fix them as fast as possible.
Therefore, it also brings me to change something regarding The Entrepreneur on Patreon.
Once the music will be fixed tomorrow, I will test the game again, to make sure the game is free of bugs and issues.
Then, I will upload the new version of The Entrepreneur Final Edition on Patreon, the same one that will be on Steam. I decided to leave this version for the 5$ tier and up for the rest of the month.
On August the 1st, it will be available to 10$ tier and up.
On another note, I started working on my second game. While I was on holidays, I still took the time to work on my laptop, creating the story, the characters and their background, planning the first episode with every events, like I used to do for The Entrepreneur.
Because it is my second game, I want to make sure I gather all the experience I got from The Entrepreneur and put it into a much larger, better game.
I won't get into too much details about the second game for now, but soon, very soon, I will start sharing about it.
Anyways, I wish you a good day, and I'll talk to you soon.

Let me proudly give you what I've worked on during the past 2 years and 4 months.
The Entrepreneur, complete edition!
Here we are, finally.
Download: Here (I strongly advise you to read this post before launching the game).

This last episode marks the achievement of my first game, The Entrepreneur.
As such, I complete the project I'm the most proud in my entire life.
This last year especially was extremely hard for me, to combine both a full time job and this game which was very important to me, took its toll on me.
I haven't slept a lot, I've battled my own mind, picked up a few addictions along the way which I hope to get rid of soon, but in the end, I believe it was all worth it.

This last episode I'm releasing today is in my opinion the best I've released out of the 4 which make The Entrepreneur.
More statics than any other, more animations, a great plot and beautiful endings.
The music have now been changed entirely from episode 1 to episode 4!

I won't have you wait any longer, and give many IMPORTANT recommendations you need to follow in order to play the game.
You will NEED to start the game from the beginning again as changes have been made to the script from episode 1. If you don't, you might reach the end, but you will encounter crashes, script errors, and won't get the ending you should have based on the route you followed.
The game has 4 possible routes, which all have 3 different endings.
Therefore, you will get lost and I strongly advise you to use the option that's been added to allow you to name your saves.
The Gallery is up and running for scenes.
Now that that's out of the way, let me talk about the last episode.

The first 3 episodes all together amounted to 2.5 GB, while the last episode brings the whole package to 4.5 GB. Yeah, there's a lot of content for you to see.
Here are some numbers:
Statics: 1873
Animations: 81
Music: 100 new songs have been added to this episode.
We are looking at a total of 217 songs right now.
You should never get tired of the same song, of if you do, seek help ;)

On a more serious note, let's talk about the release plan.
Many of you have asked me when will it be free, and this even after my last public Patreon announcement.
Here's the release plan:
Thursday the 29th of June: 20$ and up
Thursday the 6th of July: 10$ and up
Thursday the 13th of July: 5$ and up for the rest of the month of July.
On the 1st of August, it will go back up to 10$ patrons and above only, as I'll be planning the Steam release.
If I "only" released updates up until now, you now have the full game. I can't have it for free on my Patreon and sell it on Steam. Therefore, The Entrepreneur full edition won't be released to the public.

I have thanked many persons in the credits of the game, so this last paragraph will be more general.
I want to thank all of you, who have been supportive of the game, whether you pledged a dollar, of fifty, whether it was for a month of twenty, to all those of you who sent me messages and joined my discord to chat with me or praise my game, because you are the ones that motivated me, that helped me and the game, and made it possible for me to come today and present The Entrepreneur. 28 hardworking months led to this achievement, and I look forward to starting the work on my much bigger second game, with all the knowledge that I've learnt, and the hopes of going back to being a full time dev.
It was one hell of a ride.

Hey everyone, I'd like to apologize for the delay with the update.
The beta has just been sent to the testers at the moment I'm writing this.
During the last three hell weeks, which is why I call the weeks leading to the release of an episode, I had many unexpected problems which I couldn't foresee.
One of them was the total suppression of a scene, I lost around 50 renders because of a mistake on my end.
The second was an issue with a few animations which required to be rerendered.
And finally, the last one was a lack of time.
The last 3 episodes and the Christmas special were all released when I was working 100% on the game.
I now have a full time job in a restaurant, and it made it really hard for me to keep up with the amount of work needed. I still did an amazing job in my opinion because the amount of work that I have provided on those last three hell weeks led to an amazing result.
It is by far the best out of all the episodes I've created up until now in my opinion.
We're looking at 1800 statics that made the cut, and 75 animations.
I'm really happy with this episode which marks the end of a +2 years journey for me.
I was really emotional when I completed it, after the thousands of hours of work, the health issues, the mental breakdowns, the stress, anxiety, joy, anger, frustration, doubt, achievements and so much more that I encountered during the development of this game.
I'll tell you more insights when the release starts, and that brings me to what you're all waiting for.
The game will be released as soon as possible.
It depends on my testers, but it will be in June.
Some of you have already upgraded their tier, and those with +20$ will be capable of downloading the game when it gets released next week.
Those who subscribed to a 10$ tier will get a DL link to the game a week after the early release to 20$ tiers and up. That way, if you're not subscribed anymore in July, you'll still get to DL the game.
I want to make sure I make this as right as possible.
I'll let you know more when the game gets actually released, but yes, finally, this is it.
Once again, I apologize and I'll see you soon.

Here we are!
Three weeks ahead of the release.
I won't say too much, but here's a few resume of what happened over the last three weeks, and what will happen over the next three ones.
I sent the script for a full review, and it came back corrected.
But, Wibble, which is the one who proofed the script, also offered a to add a choice in the story that would add a different ending.
I loved that idea so I thought, meh, why not. It should just be 50-60 renders additional to create, maybe two days work.
Keep in mind we were looking at 1680 statics before that change.
2 weeks later annnnnnd we're now looking at 1950 statics.
Yes.
"Two days work."
Ah-ah.
So, I'm extremely happy with the different endings and the fact that you can really choose, to be honest, which is why I'll overlook these last 2 weeks lol.
What's next now is for me to gather all the statics and animations from my rendering station, transfer them on my working station and start the photoshop part.
I believe, if I'm lucky, that 4 days should be enough to complete this. Then, I'll add another week to transfer all the images and animations in the script, as well as the music.
Speaking of the music, I decided to go for the same provider that Digi.b uses. Unfortunately, there'll probably be less music available, but I consider it to be a safe option as I had the opportunity to exchange with them and they agree with me using the music they provide for my game.
That way, I won't face a copyrights claim like Drifty did.
Then, I'll be setting up the replay gallery with somebody which will help me make it as clean and functionable as possible.
After that, I will finish with the GUI optimization and finally, my goal is to send the game in its beta phase to be tested by June 15.
That way, it'll give me a week to correct the mistakes before releasing it.
Speaking of release, here's the schedule for the release of the last episode of The Entrepreneur.
20$ tiers and up: June 22
10$ tiers and up: June 29
5$ tiers and up: July 6 for a period of three weeks.
Free official release: July 13 for a period of two weeks.
Let me explain this last one.
My ultimate goal is to upload and sell my game on Steam.
Now, up to now I was uploading an incomplete version of my game. But this last update will finally make it an achieved product.
Because it took me so long to upload this last episode, I thought I would make it up to you be giving two weeks to download the full game for free.
After that, the game will be available to 10$ patrons and up.
I will also sell the game at 9.99$ on steam.
Thanks everyone for you everlasting support, which I sometimes felt I wasn't worthy off, I'm really impatient for you to play this game :)
See you soon,
MisterMaya

Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well.
I've finally finished creating every renders for the last episode.
I also had time to fix a few I was unhappy with, so we should be almost done with the 3D part.
I say almost, because an idea came to mind for the "last scenes" which will be the credits for the game.
I can't say too much, but yeah I'll be doing a little work with that.
Not much honestly, because scenes are already created, but I wand to render them a certain way and create something on Adobe Premiere after that.
I won't go into details, because you might get spoiled.
Anyway, really happy with that.
Now that the grinding part is over, I'm focusing on the editing and code writing part.
It's a big part, but I can do this while watching a movie or something, and oh my god that feels good, I almost feel like I'm getting some rest lol.
I sent a message to my favorite kiwi, which is also my proofreader. He's busy as a bee, so we're setting up the next steps for him to test the script, and whenever the bottleneck is dealt with, the game.
I also may have found a solution for the music.
Thanks to Digi.B which recommended me his music provider.
He's done that a few months ago actually, but when I looked into it I wasn't convinced.
I went back aaaaaaand... it could work.
So we will see that soon.
Then, I've always been a stressed kid and growing up I had lots of health problems related to stress.
I thought I had gotten rid of it when I hit 18-19, but 7 years later it came right back to bite me in the ass!
What I mean by that is that I have a health issue that needs to be looked into.
I'm going to a specialized doctor this Friday which hopefully will help me.
I sleep maybe 2-3 hours per day because of that, and whenever I fall asleep it's because of pure exhaustion, and I don't get enough rest. Caffeine is what keeps me going, so it really isn't viable.
Anyway, long story short, I might slow down the pace now that I reached an important milestone of the development.
Also, I have come up with a date for the release.
I'm confident this should be working, but I'm still reluctant to sharing it.
I'll wait until we reach and complete more steps of the development first.
Anyway, that was it for this week (2 last weeks hum-hum)
See you guys soon,
MisterMaya

Well, well, well, look who's late again...
I'm sorry for the lack of news, there hasn't been any major changes lately that made it worth it for me to update you guys on the situation of the game.
But that changed recently, as I'm finally one big scene away from having finished all the statics in the game, and well the animations as well.
We're looking at a 80 renders approximately scene, and then we'll be done.
This will bring the numbers of animations and renders to the following:
Animations: 69 (nice)
Statics: 1680 (approximately)
Dialogue: 6200 lines
I was aiming for around 80 animations and 2000 statics for this last update, so I think we're fairly close.
I'm really happy and excited.
Soon, the game will go into testing phase, when I say soon, I mean once all the statics and animations will be rendered and created, photoshopped etc...
And that brings us to a bit of an issue, my rendering station has a lot of work to do.
When I talk about how many statics I created, and animations I've created, it means they're dispatched in the folders of my rendering station, but they haven't (all) been rendered yet.
Last time I was telling you how my rendering station could work around 90-100 statics per day back in France, when it was running 24/7.
It's not anymore, best I can have it running for is 17-18 hours now. That might be a small difference, but it's 25 a day, 175 a week, 750 a month.
And on top of that, 90-100 a day is attainable when we're talking light scenes, because those with lots of geometry involved, assets, such as the ones with nature, or in rooms full of elements to make the scene appear more real, with characters in the background, they take more time.
So we're at a situation where at the moment I'm writing this 1085 of the statics are rendered, and 38 animations have been fully rendered.
Certain animations are as big as 360 frames, so 360 statics need to be created for me to have a single animation.
We have a bit of a bottleneck situation.
As of right now, I don't feel it's too much of a problem because it gives me time to work on many aspect of the game such as coding (LI score points, UI optimization, LEWD scenes replay menu), or even the music which becomes urgently important as we get closer to the release.
Also, when I'll be finished, I will have the option of using my workstation as a rendering station but as the CPU's getting slower (I can really see it more and more), I don't want to risk its life and have to order a new one which would delay my work for another few days.
There's also the option of rendering farms, somebody even offered to render some animations for me, and that's really nice, but those are all options I'd rather avoid for personal reasons.
I feel like some time could be gained here and there on different aspects such as script proofing, and photoshopping the existing statics, so I'll look into that pretty soon.
I also had the idea of getting started on the second game straight away, but there's a couple of things I need to improve on beforehand, and doing too many things at one time is already stressful and tiring without me adding another kind of pressure and anxiety.
Seriously, I look like I'm 10 years older recently, probably from the lack of sleep and stress.
So whenever that last big scene is over, I might take a few days off.
I don't know, we will see.
Anyway, thanks for reading me, and I hope you're happy with the news!
See you soon,
MisterMaya

Hello everyone,
This past week has been good, more statics have been created, progress is good.
I've postponed some work I intended to start on a new animation, but I'll probably get it done this week.
I've also started to review a few things on existing renders. Usually, I create everything, have a quick look once they're rendered and if something needs to be fixed, such as bad lightning, character's expression clipping or I don't know what else, I usually don't do it straight away and wait until all of the renders for the update are done.
Then I check them all, and whatever's wrong, I create an excel document with the name of the render and what's wrong.
And then during what's usually a day only, I fix them all.
But yesterday I started looking at the renders, and the numbers are quite low, so that's really nice.
There must be around 30 that needs correction and that's a small number.
So yeah, everything's been good this week.
Had a small issue with my new job, but nothing too bad.
Numbers for this week's progress are the following:
Animations: 63
Statics: 1547
Dialogue: 6200 lines
Nothing much to say, since the issue with the music is still here.
I hope to find a solution in the near future.
In the meantime, I wish you all a good week.

Hello everyone,
I hope you're all well in this fine Sunday.
I wanted to first of all thank everyone for the kind messages and feedback over the trailer of the last episode of The Entrepreneur.
This is something I said I was going to do at some point in the development of this last episode, but when I actually put the clips together I thought it looked really nice and was surprised by the result.
You also guessed it, who says trailer says we're close to the release of the last episode, finally.
I could potentially come up with a date for the release, but as many have told me before, it's best not to foreshadow these things too much.
Huge progress has been made lately but there's still one major subject which I haven't looked into, and that's the music for the game.
When the game will be completed, it will be my goal to release it on Steam as well.
But my actual music provider turns out to be the same one that put Drifty in an uncomfortable situation regarding the Copyrights claim last year.
Therefore, I need to make sure I find a solution for that before releasing it.
The easiest one would have been to buy the right to each and every song I use in the game, but we're currently at 130 songs, and looking at around 190 once the game will be complete, and I can't afford buying rights for every single song.
So, I need to find a music provider as soon as possible. So yeah, little bit of an issue on that.
But regarding the progress made on the other parts of the game, we "skyrocketted".
My career change helped out a lot, as it allows me to have a different lifestyle.
I now wake up around 4, work on the game before going to my job, and then come back in the evening, eat, usually don't even work, just chill so I can fall asleep pretty fast and wake up refreshed at 4 the next morning.
Moreover, I have my weekends free, so the amount of work I put during those days in gigantic. Feels like when I was still living in France working 10-12 hours a day.
So without making you guys wait any more, here are the numbers so far:
Animations: 63
Statics: 1487
Dialogue: 6200 lines
As far as I'm concerned, we might need another 10 animations or so, and we'll be done with the animating part.
Statics wise, I thing just another 400 would be enough, and finally, the script is entirely done. I still modify bits here and there as I advance making scenes, but the whole story is written.
That's a huge progress that's been made recently.
I'm excited and anxious lately, as I always am the closer we get to a release.
But yeah, this is what we've all been waiting for, and it's almost there.
In the meantime, I finished working on the game for today, so I will allow myself some pizza and a beer before bedtime.
I wish you all a great week, and I'll see you soon.

Hello everyone, I hope you are all well.
After a month without news, I decided to come back with the trailer for the Final episode of The Entrepreneur.
I won't say much because I plan on uploading a progress update every Sunday from now on, and if there's a trailer online, it means we're really close to the release of the final episode.
I will just let you enjoy this video for now, and I'll see you soon.

Hey everyone.
I would like to apologize first and foremost for the lack of update recently.
I had to take a step back because of a few things that happened, and more than I chose to do it, it was forced upon me by my own body and my brain. For the first time in a long time I was unable to work, eat, go out, clean my place, etc.
I spent a lof of my last weeks on my own just getting some rest, at least as much as I could anyway.
I won't go into details over what happened, but I think that breakdown was long overdue. So at least, I like to believe it's behind me now. It's not like it's healed and gone, but it was a necessary evil towards a better future if you ask me.
So, as of today, I'm getting back to work.
Bad thing is, my rendering station is out of work. I'm already running behind on schedule, and that's not going to help.
I realized that part of the mental breakdown was because of the stress I put on myself trying to make it to deadlines which I solely decided to set.
Thing is, I don't like to take my time, I feel like I'm procrastinating, so I set deadlines kind of short in the future, with the hope that this'll put me in deadline mode and that I will work like a maniac. After all, this worked so well with the last three episodes and the Special Christmas. Although either I'm getting older, or I reached the limit of that deadline mode, but this isn't as efficient as it was and I stress myself much more.
It's why I'm trying to put less and less stress upon me. And I try not to think of a time where the game will finally be ready to be released and rather think of what I can do today, and tomorrow, and the day after. Take things as they come. Good thing is, this week is the last at the restaurant I work at. I will be off the service industry soon.
This will help me get some rest, have a routine, a better lifestyle and therefore work more efficiently on the game.
I also have the stress of finding another job, but I think I'll manage.
So yeah, I won't talk about numbers this week, because frankly that hasn't changed since last time.
I need to create the customs, the 4k wallpaper of this month, I'm going to create an animation so that I can give maybe 2-3 days worth of work to my rendering station, and starting tomorrow I'll get back on the statics.
I really want to apologize for the lack of communication. It's not me giving up on anything, I'm just human and happened to have failed at maintaining a constant workload recently.
Let's get back to it.
I wish you all a great week,
MisterMaya

Hello everyone, I hope you are all fine.
This update is a little late, it was supposed to come out Sunday but I had to stay in France an extra day because of poor time management on my end.
I came back yesterday to a not so nice surprise.
My computer was turned off, which it wasn't supposed to be.
A little talk with my roommate let me know that there was a power cut the very next day I left. So I checked my folder and only 80 frames were rendered out of the 350 planned, so yeah, nice surprise!
Anyway, that happens I guess, I just lost almost 3 days basically.
The positive aspect to this is that it was the only bad thing that really happened.
My trip to France ended up being good and I could do all the things I had to.
It's with a fresh mind that I came back to Ireland yesterday.
Today was also a day off, so I ended up in front of the computer all day long.
It was productive, though I had to stop for a couple of hours to prepare a few things for my professional reorientation.
I told my boss that I was going to work with them up until the 28th of February. So happy me, but also stressed out as I always imagine the worst scenarios. I now need to find a 9-5 job and start on the 1st of March. Good news is, I have a few leads already thanks to some friends I made since I moved here.
But enough about this, let's talk about The Entrepreneur.
Apart from that short break, today was very productive.
Didn't write much, just a few corrections here and there, as I'm now focusing on the statics and creating them as I progress reading the script.
On a full day off, I managed to create 92 of them, which is honestly good.
If I could do that everyday for another month, TE would be finished, animations, statics, post work, etc lol.
We're getting close to the final release and I start to feel the excitement as the game looks more and more ready to be released.
The issue that I totally put aside is the music selection.
I stopped working with ArtList since what happened to Drifty and now I'm in need of finding another music provider, as my goal will be to release the game on Steam once it's completed and out. I still need to define the price of this game, so don't worry, tiers above the price I will sell it at will have it before it's released on Steam.
But yeah, in order to do so I need to find a new music provider.
Another solution, which is really expensive, would be to buy the rights of every song, but since we're already at 130 songs and looking at maybe 200 by the end, it's definitely something my wallet won't be able to cover.
In the end, I think I'll keep that issue in the "To deal with later" folder of my brain.
I have also something that happened to me while making some statics today. I had a lot of fun working. I know it sounds stupid, but when I first started working on The Entrepreneur, every day I spent sat in front of the computer for 10-12 hours during the first 9 months of development was exciting, enjoyable despite the frustration of failing and learning. I had lost that for a while lately, and don't get me wrong, I still love what I'm doing, but sometimes the tiredness, frustration, and difficulty of working on something like this outweigh the pleasure of creation. And it's been even more present since I moved to Ireland working two jobs. So every day I get this amount of pleasure working, is another motivation telling me I'm on the right tracks.
I will post a poll regarding the Model of February this week, and since I didn't create one for January as I was burnt out because of Christmas and all the work I had, I'll make it extra naughty, so be wise with your vote!
Anyway, I talked or rather wrote plenty, so let's see some numbers:
Animations: 52
Statics: 793
Dialogue: 3800 lines
It's getting better.
It will be good once I reach the 1000 milestone.
But I told you the development was going to be faster, and I think I was right.
In the meantime, I wish you all a great week.

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing good.
This last two weeks have been important to me because I changed a few things in my day to day routine, if we can call that a routine considering how hellish it is to organize you day when your schedule is never the same from one day to another; but those changes have helped me feeling better every time I woke up.
It used to be a battle every morning when the alarm rang, but lately it feels like it's getting easier.
That allowed me to have more energy and so I get to work and I am more productive.
So much so in fact, that I finally finished the 6th LEWD scene.
I now have 2 more to go, and we'll be done with my least favorite part of the development.
My rendering machine has at least 3 weeks of rendering, which is good, but scary as I will add another two weeks shortly, and then many, many statics. It feels like I'll deliver later than I expected, but we'll see.
I know many of you have been telling me to focus on releasing something that I'll be happy with, and not care too much about when.
I thank you for that, because it's reassuring, but a part of me doesn't like that, and tries to come up with solutions to increase the speed of rendering. I guess it comes with my personality!
So last two weeks, pretty productive.
I finished that 6th LEWD scene, and I wrote a lot.
I'm thinking about doing statics only for the next couple of weeks so I can relax a little and enjoy the work. It's stupid to say, but when I render a 300 frames animation, when it's done and I look at the folder I have only one animation and it took 3-4 days for it to be completed.
If I create 60 statics and queue them when I go to work, when I come back in the night, I take a look at the folder and that's 60 statics I have, and that's really pleasant. It feels like much work has been done.
So I intend to work a lot on the statics for the two next weeks.
Also, I'm going back to France from Thursday to Sunday, so I won't work during those days.
I will queue an animation which will probably take 3 days to complete, so not much time will be wasted for my rendering station.
For those of you who don't know, queuing statics on my software is easy as I can pile them up, whether its 10 or 5000.
But with animations, I need to manually select a few options, so I can only queue one at a time. Not much of a queue then.
I need to take a few days off to clear some stuff that came up in France, so it's unfortunate but at least I'll take that of my mind.
Also, I was working on my resume yesterday, and already sent a couple to some 9-5 jobs that I thought were interested.
I plan on quitting my job on the 28th of February, and start a new one on the 1st of March.
So things are moving in the good direction regarding my New Year's resolution.
Anyway, let's talk about numbers:
Animations: 51
Statics: 701
Dialogue: 3800 lines
We're getting closer to a decent size update, but my goals are far from being reached yet.
Much work to be done still, so I'll get back to it.
Talk to you guys later, thanks again for the motivation lately!

Happy new year to you all!
Yes I know, it's already January the 2nd, I'm kind of late but it's almost been a habit recently.
With new year comes new resolutions, and I've made a big one in order to improve the game development.
I will be working a few more months at the restaurant so I can save a solid amount of money and then look for a more conventional 9-5.
It is hard for me to put in the time The Entrepreneur needs with my current schedule, and I realize that long term wise, it's impossible for me to keep living like this.
My health recently has been hugely impacted by the way I live and work, and I need to fix this.
After the final rush of January and February, my goal is to work on the development of my second game with a healthy body and mind, and for that to happen, going for a 9-5 job is the change I have to make.
In the meantime, just two more months at this pace and then it should all be over!
I wish you all a great 2023, and I thank you for your continued support.

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a Merry Christmas with your loved ones.
This update came in quite late, as I was feeling exhausted towards the end of the Christmas in the service industry.
I'm 3 days in my 4 days off break, and I didn't even manage to put in some work in The Entrepreneur.
I feel like this small break was needed for me to go back to working seriously as we'll soon enter the last two months of development.
Good thing is, I'll be working at the restaurant on the 29th, 30th, and 31st of December, and then I'll have another 4 days off.
At the moment I'm writing this it's 3pm, I woke up two hours ago and haven't had breakfast still, my lifestyle is hectic but it's much needed in order for me to get some energy back in my tank.
I think later tonight I'll work on the script so I can get back to it slowly.
Not much to say to be honest, as not much work has been done lately.
So, numbers:
Animations: 48
Statics: 599
Dialogue: 1400 lines
Pretty much nothing changed during those last two weeks unfortunately.
But that doesn't mean it's bad, let's say I underestimated the amount of tiredness I was going to accumulate during this Christmas season.
You can never predict the future after all!
Anyway, maybe I should do some groceries, I'm starting to get hungry.
I wish you all a happy new year, and I'll see you soon.

Hi everyone, let me first apologize for not providing a progress update last week.
I was feeling tired after that first week of Christmas in the service industry and hadn't really made decent progress. Or at least, not enough so that it was relevant to make it an update.
This time it's different though.
I didn't finish the 6th LEWD scene yet, as I decided to work some more on statics and the coding part.
I secured a solid amount of animations, so much so that I believe I still have 3 weeks of animation queued in my rendering station. I wanted to create all the animations and then head on to the statics, but I got fed up with creating them.
Creating statics is a lot of creativity, light play, depth of field, camera angles, facial expressions etc, it's tiring but pleasant to do.
Animations are making sure everything seems realistic when they move, that hands or feet don't slip through surfaces, no small bumps likes seizures during the animation, calibrating the breathing with the action, and DAZ, which is the software I use, is not the best for creating animations, which is why I don't like it much.
So yeah, I decided to change it, and it felt good.
I didn't create 3 weeks worth of rendering of course, most of the time it takes me a day to create 30 to 40 renders, and they most likely render in ten or eleven hours, but still.
I liked it, and that felt good.
Also, I mentioned in a previous update that I was going to take days off during December to better focus on the game.
I have 4 days off from the 25th to the 28th, and 4 others from the 1st of January to
the 4th.
That's not much, but that's good to take.
I think it's going to feel weird when we start 2023 and I start to realize we're in the last two months of the game development. Last update was in June 2022, I never took more than four months in between updates so it's scary really that it's taking me this long, even though plenty of things changed in my life.
I'm grateful to see that you're still following and supporting me after all this time.
I'll do my best to release the best episode of The Entrepreneur ever.
So yeah, little change in plans but nothing too bad.
Now, numbers:
Animations: 47
Statics: 587
Dialogue: 1400 lines
Looking forward to making more progress, but in the meantime, it's time to go make some cocktails *sighs*.
Wish you all a great week,
MisterMaya

And there you have it, Valentine is chilling by the chimney about to open a present.
Hope you'll like this monthly wallpaper!
Many of you will ask me why isn't it Lucy when she had move votes than Valentine, it's because the higher your tier, the more your vote counts.
In the end, there was more higher patrons who voted for Valentine than there were for Lucy.
Also, because it's Christmas month, I decided to allow 5$ tiers to download this render.
Merry Xmas!

Well, I come bearing good news.
Yesterday I finished the 5th LEWD scene of this last episode of The Entrepreneur.
I woke up feeling refreshed at 9 am and without even taking a breakfast I turned off the computer and starting working up until 1am.
Even ordered delivery food twice so I would stay focus as much as possible (felt guilty this morning though lol).
And I need to say it paid off.
I created 7 whole animations and 51 statics in just yesterday. I had already created 10 statics and 1 animation during the week, but this is nothing compared to yesterday's work.
I'm blown off by my own progress if I'm honest. Yes it took a toll on me, but it was worth it. It usually takes over a week to create a LEWD scene.
I rewarded myself this morning by sleeping in instead of waking up at 8 like I usually do.
I launched the 8th animation and added a couple of details such as breathing and camera movement which I was too tired to do yesterday, and that's good enough for the day as I need to head to work soon.
So happy with this.
So what's next? On to the 6th LEWD scene.
I have another day off on Tuesday which I will take advantage of.
Although, it is cooking day, laundry day and cleaning day, so I already know I won't fully create another LEWD scene in a day. But, starting it is good enough already.
And to be fair, Sundays hit differently than Tuesdays. Something about the calmness of the surroundings I guess.
Anyway, I also realized this morning that up until now I used scenes of the final episode as the image for the promotion of each progress updates, and that I was getting awfully closed to the last "in game" days of The Entrepreneur. I can't use those images as I could be revealing too much on the story maybe.
So yeah, you will enjoy renders of the early "in game" days of this last update from now on. Sorry if Valentine looks sad!
Next up, I need to address something that could be an issue.
As I told you in some previous updates, I'm concerned by the power of my rendering station. Back in France, it used to run 24/7. It wasn't in my bedroom so I could sleep peacefully and let it work.
Now, though, I can't leave it in the livingroom of my house as I live with housemates, and so it's in my bedroom. I can't leave it on as I'm sleeping because the noise is too much of a bother.
So usually, it runs around 17-18 hours a day, 7/7. It might not seem much of a difference, but 6 hours a day mean I lose a day of render every 4 days. On a month scale, it's a week. If I consider it takes around 2-3 weeks to completely render a LEWD scene, now you realize how bad that is.
I will of course try to find a solution, there's a couple that comes to mind already, one being to use my working station as a rendering station when I'm not using it (ex. going to work at the restaurant), but its rendering power is far less good, so I will need to be very selective in the choice of scenes I give it to work on as it needs to be light scenes.
So yeah, that's just to let you know of my concerns.
Other than that, I'm feeling good.
Happy to make progress, anxious about December which will be taxing on my energy and stress levels since I work in the service industry.
But we'll see how it goes.
So, numbers!
Animations: 44
Statics: 453
Dialogue: 810 lines
Anyway, that was it for this week's progress update.
I wish you all a great week, and I'll see you soon.

So, this week was not that productive but it was expected.
My parents came from France to visit me for the whole weekend, and so I decided I wasn't going to work during the weekend. After all, I hadn't seen them for almost 5 months, and I needed to see them and show them my new life.
I still managed to find some time from Monday to Thursday, and some hours here and there during this weekend.
As a result, I made some decent progress on the fourth LEWD scene of this last episode of The Entrepreneur.
I'd say that I am halfway done with this one.
I wasn't going to tell you about it, but I feel like it's due time I told you.
This episode will contain 8 LEWD scenes.
My goal is to finish creating the 5 (4 and 1/2) remaining ones before the end of the year.
If I manage to do this, and I'm confident I will, then it'll leave 2 months of work to complete the game. I'm aiming for a release late February-early March.
I think it's more than doable.
I plan on taking a few days off here and there at my work so I can spend two full days on a row working on the game. The amount of progress I can secure during those two days is amazing, so I figure it would be a good idea.
Anyway, for the numbers now:
Animations: 36
Statics: 392
Dialogue: 810 lines
Pretty happy with this.
We're slowly getting there, but as I said last time, progress will be exponential after I'm done with all the LEWD scenes :).
Anyway, two friends from France will spend 4 days in Dublin, so I said I was going to spend some time with them.
I will finish the fourth LEWD scene this week and attack the 5th one next week.
So yeah, that was it for this week's progress update.
I wish you all a great week,

What to say about last week, well it hasn't been the most productive week I've had but I'm still happy because I managed to complete a third LEWD scene.
It took me 6 days but at least it's done.
To give you some insights, this LEWD scene is composed of 6 animations and 56 statics. And the animations total 1540 frames.
Back when I was still living in France I usually was around 100-120 statics per week, so I'm pretty happy with this number considering I was a full time dev back then.
I believe when I'll create scenes with no animations, it'll be much faster because all the "scene_base" have been created. So yeah, happy me.
Also, I'm trying to increase the amount of frames per animations to achieve a better result in terms of smoothness and realism.
It worked well for other animations, so I have high hopes for these ones as well.
Yesterday was also the day I sent the customs to the Mister Roaster patrons.
I was really late and I apologize, I wanted to focus on other stuff at that time.
Now, the next thing to do on my list is to attack another LEWD scene. I usually struggle the most with those as my animation skill is far from being great, so I'm usually not happy with what I produce, therefore I do it all over again and waste time, which is hard for both my mental but also my energy levels.
But, weirdly enough, this LEWD scene didn't have that effect on me. So, I decided I was going to go for the fourth one. If I also take a week to complete it, that would be good news. And It would be giving attention to the only "last LI", so I look forward to creating this *wink-wink*.
Now, numbers!
Animations: 33
Statics: 367
Dialogue: 700 lines
I'm aiming for around 2000 statics and 70-80 animations for this last episode of The Entrepreneur.
I know it seems like we're far from getting there, but I don't think so. I believe progress will be exponential soon.
So yeah, that was it for this week's progress update.
Once again, thank you for your support, your comments on last week's progress update really improved my mood.
Have a nice week,
MisterMaya

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a good weekend.
I finally finished all the "scene_base" of the last episode of The Entrepreneur.
I finished a week later than what I had planned, but here we are. Finally.
It's a huge achievement for me to be able to cross that off my to do list.
Now, I want to focus on creating animations to keep my rendering station busy, and that's why I'll attack the third LEWD scene on Tuesday.
I will have very little time to work tomorrow because of my work schedule unfortunately.
Also, I haven't started the customs of this month because I wanted to finish the "scene_base" as quickly as possible.
I apologize for the delay, and will create them during this week.
As I promised last time, I'm going to come up with numbers today so you can realize what's been done so far.
I'll divide it in three categories.
Number of animations, number of statics, and number of sentence between characters. The latest will be estimated as there are many coding lines which aren't dialogues.
So far, here are the numbers:
Animations: 27
Statics: 311
Dialogue: 700 lines
As you can see, we're running a little late on the script and the statics, but I have made solid progress with the animations.
It really isn't the same at it was when being a VN developer was my only occupation, but I'm happy with the progress made so far.
I also believe now that all the "scene_base" are created, progress on the statics will be made at a solid pace.
Aiming for a release at the beginning of 2023.
So there we go!
I'm excited for what's next, as usual.
I'm going to get some rest, and then get back to work.
Have a good week,
MisterMaya

Hello everyone, time to decide who will be the model for the month of November, and keep in mind I'm doing a special Halloween theme this time!
Also, I'm adding a mystery option to add some spicy content.
It could be so many things, but I won't tell you what.
Will you take the risk to pick this option? Or will you stick to what your mind can see ;)?
Poll will be open up until Sunday at midnight UTC.
See you soon,

So, this week hasn't been as great as the last one.
Unfortunately, I've had difficult shifts between Tuesday and Friday which didn't allow me to work at all for four days.
So even though some progress was made, it was below what I usually do in a week on average.
I'm feeling a little bummed, but one of my manager, as an apology, gave me the next Saturday off, and makes me finish at 6PM on Friday.
And since Halloween is Bank holydays in Ireland, it means I'll have from Friday night till Tuesday morning to work like a maniac on the game to make up for this week.
So all in all, not so bad.
A little something I quite enjoy though is that I still managed to create two "scene_base" today, and in one of them which I included an Easter egg giving clues on my next game.
I actually did 3 scenes like this, and would love to create a fourth one.
You might say, four Easter eggs, isn't that a lot MisterMaya?
Well, this number is actually not a coincidence, but then again, I can't say too much (*vilain laugh*).
I quite enjoy those moments where I truly get creative with my scenes because I feel like I work faster and create something really good, and lately it's been the case more and more.
I look forward to what's next in the development of the last episode of The Entrepreneur.
Also, more and more people have been sending me messages with theory as to what happened after the last scene of the third episode.
Some of your theory are hilarious, some are quite close, and it's always a pleasure to read this.
Let me tell you, so far nobody has found the answer, and even if it was the case, I won't tell you. But please, keep speculating, you're putting a smile on my face every time I read your messages.
Anyway, this week I'll post a poll for the 4K Wallpaper of this month, which will be short as I'd love a Halloween theme for this month. So it'll be open for probably 4 days only, and then I'll have even less time to create the wallpaper as I would love for it to be live on the first of November.
Also, Mister Roasters, start thinking about your customs as I'll probably create them at the same time I create the 4K Wallpaper.
Anyway, that was it for today's progress update.
Have a great week,
MisterMaya

Hello everyone, I hope you're all fine.
Last week went smoothly, I almost reached out the end of the 8th day out of ten creating the "scene_base" only.
I believe I'm a little faster than what I had planned, but don't want to get ahead of myself.
Weather has been awful in Ireland lately, which "forced" people to go drinking (because Irish don't usually drink) and I've been working a lot.
But for some reason, I ended up going home and worked as usual anyway, so that's a good thing I guess.
There's one aspect of the last episode that I've neglected which is the story writing.
I know what's going to happen in every scene I create, but I haven't written the dialogues yet, and that's something I need to do.
But since the 3D part is the most tiring of all, and I managed to make decent progress lately, I decided to keep my momentum and left out the writing part of that last episode.
Which is funny because at some random moment of my days I will sometimes think about something two characters could be saying and instantly pull out my phone to write it in my memos.
My phone has a dozen of those already and I think it's quite hilarious because I feel like a professional writer, although of course, I am not at all.
I decided to come up with some numbers to maybe give you some ideas of the progress I'm making.
But to do so, I need to finish all the "scene_base".
So I believe starting next month the progress update will become more than simply me telling you where I'm at, and I'll be able to give you numbers, which I quite enjoy to be honest.
Anyway, that was it for this week.
I wish you all a good week,
MisterMaya
