A brief update

Hi Guys! Last week was busy, and it was only on this Monday I got my hands on the project again. I got one team member visiting me and it was awesome!

Waiting...

Last week I sent 7 pages of bla bla to Mia, haven't reached her yet. When I get it back, I have all the pieces for the game. Some of you were worried of the duration of the Finale, the thing is, it's total length with all paths. Example; there is 4-5 ways for her to enjoy 69 with you. Each having different vo and possible endings, so with the scene mode each of these poses will give a LONG time to play!

Man, this scene is big! As it wraps up everything together, having insane amount of poses, I just estimated it's gonna be 45-60 mins long...

The storyline here is straight forward, and if it was just a story you watch, it would be ready. BUT, even when every move from one pose/event to the next is seamless, I had to split this to per event coding; this way you can choose what you like with the scene mode.

Sometimes you are obligated to set the priorities... I was tied up with / by my Mrs for a few days... we've been married for 25 years :)

Releasing tomorrow, new Alpha!

I've fixed every bug you found! I'm so grateful for you guys to hunt them, some of those were really stupid due me reusing the same assets in later scenes and modifying them for the new purpose. And ofc the old ones got screwed. The rig has been edited as well, spawn with the normal height.

I've also added support for Valve Index (tested working) and HP (not tested).

With the tomorrow's release I'll include the complete change list.

Releasing on Friday (14th of May) the FD2 Alpha!

I've got quite far with the 2D version, on Monday hopping to the VR, checking all connections and buttons. The alpha is not yet the full game, but the main thing is I'll get feedback from you guys how different VR controllers work. 

Also, if anyone is playing tethered or using Oculus Quest 2 with Airlink, ALL feedback will be really valuable! I can only test HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and Valve Index. So any other setup, please give me feedback!

The current progress!

I have been overhauling the look and the feel with the scenes and now the graphics quality is consistent! I’ve also fixed the errors you guys have reported earlier and added new stuff to the scenes. I still encourage you to reply to this post of all the problems you have found earlier, just to be on the safe side!

Most of the scenes have now the following features:

-Skip. Goes directly to fun part (not available at the Story mode)

The improved look & the POV system

Here are some images of the scenes I've been improving and how the play looks if you change the body. Chase has been kind enough to help with the warning page and this is how it works:

When you start the game, every scene is locked. The only way is to play the story, which unlocks each scene. This also adds features to each scene, so when selecting the scene from the main menu, you might be prompted of the events within the scene you wanna play. Quitting the scene mode ...

Opinion, please!

As Mia hasn't provided her next Queen vo set yet, I've gone to the process to finalize each scene. This is actually really cool, I can bring every scene quality wise to the same level! 

Now, when watching "The Witness", I'm questioning if it's too harsh. What I've done now is to make the gf to beg for sex with the vo. Still, her being cuffed, dunno if I'm still crossing the line. The Cinematic has landed!

As promised, here is almost every cinematic story scene from the FD2 game. These are glued together as one continuous "film", but with the game these appear between the real scenes.

As told before, the big picture is more than just scenes glued together without a purpose. This is why I have these extra scenes to explain from the player's perspective how things are going. Working with the Finale, Part1 (Video)

Just out of fun I screen recorded the current status of the Finale gameplay.  The video ends when you go down on her and I've been modelling her dynamic privates, which nicely works with your tongue. I haven't implemented how to control the tongue, that's prolly gonna be short and long trigger presses (speed, how to please her, automatic or attached to the head). Jihaa! The animation phase is over!

As you know, all the animations are either motion captured or animated manually with Maya. This work is now done for the whole game!

I've been working now with the Unity, adding all the missing animation sequences to the Finale and adjusting the vo script to match everything. This scene is again BIG. 

There are over 15 000 frames of animation, each loop about 30-50 frames long. Everything is seamless; there are no cuts to jump from pose to pose. There are cin...

Merging the story with the Narrator

Creating some Cinematics...

The In-betweeners (Pre-scenes)

The FD2 game has a storyline and this requires bit more than just the scenes which you've already seen. These small scenes are fully fleshed with the animations, music and the voiceovers. When you play the story mode, these will activate between every real scene, carrying the story forward. The player is the narrator, and you'll get the idea of why and what to expect next.

The Dreams -full scene!

Here it is, the strangest scene I've created! You'll get to meet interesting characters and experience all sorts of action...

Few notes, please read so you understand how this works;

-The scene has 3 parts. With the menu system (available when releasing the game) you can jump to any of them directly. Also, happy ending with the first girl is available only with the direct jump from the main menu.
