Some trivia about the WIP.
Initially, I intended to base this WIP on Arthurian legends. Norton (the mc's ancestor who betrayed the kingdom and wanted to conquer Petrus) would be Mordred, Adas Elkar (the ancestor of the Elkar family) would be Arthur. The Marven family would actually be descended from the Green Knight and the mc descended from Mordred, having magic and being half-faerie.
