Replacing clothes with skins

Hey guys. Sorry for taking a while to post. As I said earlier, I started dressing the characters, and some complications needed to be resolved.

When proposing a game where most of the characters will be naked at some point, the mechanics of the clothes become a big challenge. My first idea was simply the most intuitive one, to create the clothes in separate objects to be attached to the skeleton on top of the skin so I can have the clothing fully modular.

Defining character mechanics

Hey guys! This week I managed to give the first coat of paint to all the characters. Instead of painting one character at a time, I separated the steps and painted them all at once, this helped speed up the process, so much so that I forgot to take screenshots.

Hello everyone, I haven't finished painting all the characters, there are twenty-nine in all, some of which have younger variations that will appear in flashbacks, but I believe I've already passed half of the work.

I'm trying to vary the ways of painting in order to find the best techniques, so some characters end up better than others. I intend to give back correcting the details to achieve quality uniformity.

In for a Penny

Hey guys! I'm still working on the scenarios, I'm really liking the result. The idea of using modular parts to build the buildings made the work much simpler and with cozy aspect. I now need to furnish the rooms and apply the textures and this step will be done.

In the meantime, I made one more attempt at using AI, this time I applied a background to Penny's images, apparently the AI understands images better this way than against a gray background, which is how the images were before....

Not Related Intro

This intro opens the first scene of Step 3. Despite being just a short snippet without any interaction, it requires some mechanics that expose problems in the animation dynamics. I take the opportunity to find definitive solutions to these problems, so you won't see the character's hands out of position at the beginning of the take, which was a common problem.

The week went by pretty fast and I didn't get to do everything I had planned, but I managed to finish the main story scenes, now missing some modeling and texturing of some furniture and clothes.

At this point, I was able to add almost all the scene mechanics I had planned, which is really nice because it allows me to add some scenes that I had postponed.

[Report] New machine 😃, old machinist 😒

Hi everyone, I hope you're having a good extended weekend. I'm going to leave here a small report of my week.

I finally upgraded my computer, now I have a new motherboard with a powerful processor, 32Gb of RAM, and Windows 11 running on an SSD, thanks again to Jersson for the donation. I spent part of the week putting things together and I'm still surprised at how quickly everything opens up, so it was a really fun week for me.

Hey guys! I intended this week to come back with the progress bar, I was thinking of creating something integrated with the in-game editor to show a more realistic map of progress. Unfortunately, I had to interrupt this work to deal with an annoying bug caused by me having moved the scenarios in position, this caused rotations of various parts of the game to be inverted. For now, I have reverted the scenarios to the previous position, but I still have to study a way to fix the problem.

[Report] Hard work and some visual tricks

Hello friends, this week I spent most of my time configuring the changes made in the past weeks in the game. I changed the genitals topology to add texture, so I had to replace and configure the character models, the same for the new clothes and hair.
