The Celtic Origins of Halloween

This past weekend we released an episode on the Ancient Celts and their festival of Samhain which would later be co-opted by the Christian All Hallow's Eve and morph into our Halloween. I'm please to announce that the episode featured a new artists as well as a new researcher who will be helping us to dive deeper into the history of the Celts and in particular the Gauls! This Is Sparta! Video series

After the release of our spotlight video on the Spartan Royal Guard I went down the Spartan rabbit hole with a series of follow up videos. The first one deals with the famous battle of 300 champions between Sparta and Argos which may have featured the Royal Guard. In our third video we actually take a tour of Sparta itself in AC Odyssey with a historian guest!

A Real Life Murder Case in Ancient Rome

I was super excited to release our latest "How They Did It" episode on an actual murder investigation from ancient rome. Its amazing to me that this story survived the historical record. It was a TON OF FUN to bring to life and I can't thank our writers and artists who gave this episode their 110% effort. I also owe you all a big thanks for making the production of these episodes possible!

As a part of our Law & Order series we are publishing an episode this week about solving a murder. For the intro I've actually used one of the awesome parody ideas submitted by a Patron:
