Hey all, just wanted to share some insights and reflections on what we released this month, so here we are!
City by the Sea - a pack of 3 base maps, including a city docks, a river in the city with a boathouse, and a plaza that extended out into the sea. All in all, I really enjoyed making these, and it was my first time making custom ships, which turned out quite nicely...but I have some improvements in mind!

Finally - I've managed to finalise this release! Apologies all for the delay on this and wanted to thank you for your patience! This pack...ended up being a bit bigger than expected.
I didn't realise that the Moonstone Mask was FIVE floors when I initially suggested it...but being me, I decided to commit and well...I've ended up with a sort of mega pack. On top of that, I've made Driftwood Tavern, which has a first and second floor, as well as a basement.

Hey all, I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank those that wished me well, it's been a rough couple of weeks but I am FINALLY starting to recover! My sense of smell and taste are pretty off for now, so much so that I could not taste or react to spicy food, when my eyes would otherwise be streaming. XD

Hey all welcome back to another post! Today I am bringing you to a suggestion made last month focused on a mysterious mansion masquerade...I realise that it was meant to be two floors but I ended up making one HUGE one storey mansion that appears to tell much more of a story. I thoroughly enjoyed making this map, even if it did take OVER 10 hours. XD

As part of this little WIP, I wanted to give a little insight into the current way I make maps from scratch.
Lately, I have started taking some more time crafting and drafting battlemaps, rather than starting on them straightaway. This drawing allows me to think about the structure of the building or the map as a whole, placement, and erase things I don't like so much.
