March Update: Weaponized Waifus

We got an update! I am kind of happy about this one even if it's not a huge release, since I can check a few things off my list permanently. I also avoided working on Easter, which is probably a good thing. XD

Anyway, we got a mix of everything, with some ideas I hadn't explored before in the game, so it should make for an interesting update if you like checking out all the scenes.

Release delayed (to friday)! I know it's not TOO important, as long as I update each month, but it still bothers me that I can't seem to nail down the schedule recently. Specifically, debugging and deciding a few things for the quest took me WAY longer than I was thinking, despite it being a straightforward event, and cleaning up some of the code behind the cheerleading path (so that it's better organized) taking care of some typos and stuff just slowed me down.

February Update: Cerebral Cheerleading

Another update for you guys! This time around, I had to do a bit more work than I was hoping for the set things up, particularly for the chess mini-quest and the new stuff in the cheerleader path, but thankfully I got everything sorted in time. January Update: Almost Out of Time

Whew! This last week was a nightmare, I kept re-thinking and rewriting the last part of the quest (and often, I got stuck without making much progress), but eventually I manged to wrap things up. I hope it's enough for an epic conclusion, and that people will like the puzzles and the plot. 

I seriously changed my ideas so many times, and I had no time for regular testing (I did multiple runs on my own, instead), but I think the final result is worth it (although it depends a lot on...

I guess I underestimated how long my sickness would drag. I did write the ending for Marjorie's path and the orc village, but I couldn't quite finish the quest. As a result, I am going to try and release the update by the end of the week, now.

There really isn't much else to say, and I apologize for the delay. I guess it's all good as long as the release window doesn't change much, but still. Keep an eye out for the release, and in the meantime, have fun. ^_^

So, how's this 2024 treating you guys so far? Probably not much different from 2023, I suppose. As far as the game goes, I have been fixing bugs, and working on the Outcasts' quest. I think I should be able to finish it this month (I have done most of the puzzle design at this point, minus the finale), so I'll focus my efforts on that one. We should also be getting the end to Marjorie's path and the orc village (they should both need only 1 scene each).

Of course, we couldn't possibly have the perfect release, so here is a hotfix to take care of some issues! Admittedly, a couple of those are actually old issues, that somehow I didn't see before (or maybe I fixed them before and forgot to save the changes). Whatever the case, at least now they are gone.

Second Draft: POVs! POVs Everyhwere!

I enjoyed switching to Cassandra for a while, so I figured, why not offer other looks into the story? Each of those are meant to flesh out the world a bit more (hopefully), and we can all learn a bit more about what's going on. Cassandra and Elle would be the more traditional points from which to continue the story, while Leonora and Morgana are more like "side-chapters", I feel.
