Slutwear 2022 for Genesis 8 Female

Pretty suggestive name for a pretty suggestive piece of kit.  Barely covers up anything.

First item in a long while with morphs built in: Breasts Size and Breast Implants as I figure those are the two most popular.  Should help when using those.  Hoping to add more if I can get around a particular issue (i.e., Breasts Cleavage is my current holy grail).

Very simple item with a few basic materials/colours.

UV layout also available for customizations, though not...

Nipple Tape for Genesis 8 Female

This is an older item from back in my Lux render days.  Not much to it, honestly.

It was based on Genesis 3 Female but I updated it to Genesis 8 Female.

Might come in handy for some people.

Pimp Cane

Made this image for a little side project.  It's fairly simple.

Uses Iray Uber textures but the cane handle is a simple square UV map so if you wanted to use a wood texture, if it's seamless, it will work.

Wrestling Ring 2022

This isn't as a big a revision as it sounds.  What I wanted was to make the apron wider for tag team scenes.  I also found the bottom rope was too low, so I lifted it.

Maintains the same UV layout as the 2021 version, so any textures made for the 2021 will work on this version.  But note the turnbuckle covers have been stretched quite a bit so textures for it may need adjustment.

Again, UV layouts provided for customizations.

Vintage Everlast Boxing Boots for Genesis 8

Here's another pair of boots I made.  

Comes with the surface ID and UV layouts for customizations.

Only after it was all done did I noticed that one side is mirrored, so just be aware of that.

Probably the most complicated mask I've done to date, just don't forget to delete the eyelashes.

Providing the surface ID and the UV layout for any customizations.

This is just great.

I upgraded to DAZ Studio 4.21 and it won't render now.

Everything else works but rendering.

Looking for Suggestions

Originally, the suggestion would be to see if anyone had any thoughts about an issue that just cropped up.

I made a new wrestling mask for Genesis 8 Male that relies upon surface ID maps for painting.  The problem, is that when I import the PNG into Substance Painter and try to add it to the mask with colour selection, it gives me the checkerboard you see on empty layers in Photoshop.

Substance Painter Items

My collection of badges/patches for use in Substance Painter 2020 and newer.  They might work in previous versions but unsure.

I've been making more and more of these of late from images found in Internet searches.

Once imported into Painter (usually drag and drop), they can be thrown on paint layers.

Groin Protector 2022 for Genesis 8 Female

A request that I finally finished and packed up.

Works pretty good, but just don't do heavy splits. :)

Retro Outfit 2022 for Genesis 8 Female

This is an item I had for a while, but it's missing the 1980s style belt.  It was causing way too many issues and didn't bend properly even with weight mapping.

There can be smoothing issues (might have to play with settings to stop parts from disappearing inside G8F).  I have to stop "layering" clothing over another, I think.  There's no way to stop the items underneath from bleeding through.

As always, the UV layouts are provided if you want to customize.

Feeling better...

... and now coming out of some non-COVID seasonal virus that hit everyone in the extended family and area.  It made it hard to sleep, and still kind of does.

Brought everything to a screeching halt for the most part.  Just couldn't sit at the desk for extended periods.  I even have quite a few items that I can put up too (including more G8 wrestling moves).

What I'm not feeling better about is Genesis 9.

I made my own custom morph for G9 and it came out rather...

Illness

Work up this morning really sick.   Ugh.  Massive headache (dehydration) and sore thighs, of all things.

Boxing Ring Accessories for Boxing Ring 2020

Aprons, turnbuckle covers and stairs.

I attached the boxing ring prop itself for those who did already have it.  It's the same as the previous one, but I added install/uninstall functionality for this DIM package.

MMA Shorts 2022 for Genesis 8 Male

Wanted to update my shorts for a project so releasing this as well.

I was asked to create some textures for the Gravure boxing gloves.  These are designed for Metallic/Roughness shaders.

I only did two here (Korea and Patriot) but I created a Substance Painter file that lets me make more.

Tyger Braid for Genesis 8 Female

I think this is the first hair item I've made from scratch and not simply converted a mesh from a game.

Tweaked an older item I used that was clearly inspired by Tong Po from Kickboxer.

I worked on this today just to work on making items with bones and working with weight mapping.  This one has 11 groups (I don't recommend bending Braid01 IMHO).

The Bend, Side-to-Side and twist is a bit funky because it's hard to figure out the XYZ order, and I didn't want to go back an...

Super Foxy Boxing Trunks 2022

Here's a pair of boxing trunks for Genesis 8 Female.  I originally made these back in 2017, but I reworked the UV maps to make waistband designs much easier to do.

I had used them for my first boxing comic.  I've been thinking of "redoing" it with updated items and then possibly continuing the series.

As always, comes with surface ID and UV layout for customizations.

Went the Marvelous Designer Path

Definitely might have bitten off more than I can chew.  Watching the tutorials makes me feel that this is a path I need to go down.  Lately, I've been feeling that I've gone as far as I could with Blender and that it's a good idea to explore other avenues to bring it to the next level.

Taking it slow and steady.  It's not as straightforward as I thought and the amount that I don't know about fashion/sewing has really started to show.

Future Plans (Going the Marvelous Designer route)

I'm debating on two paths:

1) working on the Slugfest boxing game.

2) purchasing Zbrush and other software.

I had planned on working on the game once Godot 4 came out but wondering if I should go back to the current version.  One of the reasons I paused that project were sound affects and voices.

The second option requires loads of money but I almost feel I have to go that route because I feel "stalled."  My worry here is that maybe I'm thinking the software ...
