Looking for Suggestions
Added 2022-11-02 22:06:05 +0000 UTCOriginally, the suggestion would be to see if anyone had any thoughts about an issue that just cropped up.
I made a new wrestling mask for Genesis 8 Male that relies upon surface ID maps for painting. The problem, is that when I import the PNG into Substance Painter and try to add it to the mask with colour selection, it gives me the checkerboard you see on empty layers in Photoshop.
I tried exporting out from Blender as JPG and tried that in Painter with the same effect.
One of the things I noticed is that on the thumbnails for the surface ID maps in Painter, there is a Black '1' over it. That usually suggests UDIM setup, so I even tried both and get the same issue.
Just looking to see if anyone has any ideas/suggestions.
Also, looking for clothing items to make for this month. I noticed I haven't done anything for the guys in a while (which is why I did the mask).
I have some props I can put up (i.e., nipple tape) and some moves I'll likely release later this month.
Comments
I think I worked on one once. Might look into finding it.

New version of Blender might adding something to the PNGs and JPGs on export causing that '1' to appear. Only thing I can think of.
