Ahhhhh, I almost made it! Dick-face (as I shall continue to call my new client) did, in fact, drop the ball (again) and I had some time to finish the reward up as a result. Unfortunately, the need to edit it drug the processes out...

Update on May $5 Reward

Just a not-so-quick update/rant on the state of the $5+ reward. Between the initial session with Jaylee and some time I managed to steal while traveling, I've gotten about 3600 words done. With a target of between 5000-6500 words, that puts it in range that it might get finished before the end of the month after all.

The problem is that the guy I'm working with for the new freelance contract I've cited as a lot of my problem...is being a giant dick-face. He keeps telling me he's going...

Quick Update

May Renders Done!

So, I actually managed to surprise myself. By taking Saturday and Sunday completely off from all other projects, I was able to finish all twelve of the renders needed for this month's Eros Academy reward. Part of that was because there were less interconnected than usual, with no animations, but I'm still quite pleased that I managed to chew through that many renders in two days! Unless something major occurs, I should be able to get the programming done this week sometime, hopefully up...

Eros Academy 2.02(Beta)

Yay! It's out on time!

This is the first of the 'Patron Reward' model updates that I've switched to for continued Eros Academy development. Per the voting of the amazingly awesome $5+ Patrons, this first update is double the new monthly 'standard' size. A little more, actually, since if came in at 22 renders in total.

Reward Update - Renders Finished

So, this took MUCH longer than I wanted, and I technically have a few touch up things to do (See that white on the table in the background? For some reason the object didn't load the texture right in several of the god-awful-long renders. Thankfully, it's something easily fixed without having to re-render, since it's the only thing in those scenes that is that color), but I have all 22 renders done for the month's reward.

Ugggghhh. So, the switch over HAS started, as you'll see if you look at the rewards tiers and goals. However, I haven't done the major switch I was intending to. The reason for that is the above image...I spent something like 7 hours(Sunday night and Monday morning), doing the basic fills for the cafe interior. Having done that, I really really want to actually USE it as I had intended to in the switch over (basically creating a sort of title screen out of the art I have).

I don't normally post works-in-progress, mostly as my drawing process doesn't normally produce cool looking lines like proper artists do. Whew. So, I've been working on this for half of forever it seems like. Partly, that's because it's a rare case of be not using a reference pose at all, which is not normal for me. Eros Academy 2.0(Beta) - Release Notes

The new release is finally here! A couple of quick things before I get into the release notes proper.

1) Naomi's chats didn't get fixed for this update. They were supposed to be, but I wisely decided to do the testing before I got to them, since they are pretty much pure flavor. Testing took TWO DAYS and I'm still sure there are plenty of bugs, there was just so bloody many code changes that such is inevitable. Net result, I cut the chat system updates for this update. I might get them squeeze...
