This my setup for my brush in OC6 when I'm about to draw lines.  It's listed as "pen" way up at the top there but I'm actually using the Pencil tool.  Other brush variations can be found under "Nibs," but I generally don't bother with them.  The Brush Size is 3.0 px at maximum opacity.  Minimum Size controls the edges of that example swipe there, making them thicker and rounder as the percentage goe...

TQ Wallpaper - Zizumbir

So this was mainly for practice with the environment.  I plan on making a two-page spread for every chapter break from now on, which can double as wallpapers for you lovely people.  I'm not sure which chapter this will be going with yet.  The next one will likely be the Chapter 1 spread that takes place in the desert, so I can get the colors planned out for that environment.  I plan on making these available to everyone once they show up in the comic.

Hopefully once TQ is ready to return, I will be able to convince the Hiveworks tech to redo my site.  Because the old version of the comic had SO MANY COLORS I was afraid to use any color in the site itself and the overall design was left pretty bland.

This is a close-up WIP of a wallpaper/ chapter transition page for TQ.  POOR MAMA DOESN'T EVEN HAVE WHISKERS YET.  

I got a couple of nasty comments on Tapastic today.  People being bitter about Persephone not being free to read in its entirety.  I'm super lucky to have you guys.  You make it all worth it. 

BIG NEWS (Update!)

Ok, tallies are in (I'm still happy to hear comments) and it seems that World Building and NSFW are the clear winners, with couples wallpapers being pretty popular.  It was suggested that I combine the couples wallpapers with NSFW and use them for the $10 tier, while saving World Building for the hardcore-est of fans at $15.  I think this is an excellent idea.  I've already put together the first World Building post complete with world map and I've sketched out three couples/nsfw ...

So before, TQ pages were on an 8.5x11 page and I limited myself to 2 or 3 levels for the panels to be on.  Now that the pages are 6x9, I can add more levels and have smaller drawings/ more going on per page.  

The tigers all act like big kitties, but I am a dog person who has never owned a cat so I worry that they might end up coming across as dog-like instead.  

Does anyone know a sound effect for suppressing a snort?

Those border lines are on every page to help me keep the panels looking consistent from page to page.  I just leave the layer invisible after setting up the layout.

BIG NEWS!

The charge upfront feature is finally here! (Though it would've been nice to know that my payout would be put on hold until halfway through December BEFORE I switched.  So much for buying Christmas presents.)

Kizarasunga's new colors

So my husband brought this to my attention quite a while ago, but it seems Kizarasunga's original hair color varied considerably from screen to screen.  I chose an orange color.  My phone would display the same color I saw on my laptop.  His phone and pc showed an overly-bright clown red.  So for years he thought her hair was supposed to be bright scarlet.  NAH, MAN.  ORANGE.  So I went through SO MANY shades of orange to pick one I like that won't look straigh...

OK!  I'm officially putting TQ on hiatus so that I can show it to you all the way I originally envisioned it in my head.  Not gonna lie, I have cut far too many corners due to time constraints and lack of artistic ability.  I love my characters too much to leave them in a comic I am not ok with.
