Okay, I've solidified the anime games idea and started writing it.
I basically just have a giant list of hypothetical anime games in a Google Doc now. And there are way too many good ones to cover in one video. So I've narrowed it down to 8 anime I'm going to flesh out into games. And if the video doesn't bomb I'll probably do sequels to try and cover all the rest. Here's what I have:

Okay, so I've come up with the idea for my next video. People talk a lot about games that should be turned into shows or movies (cough, Edgerunners, cough) But I want to specifically cover anime that should be turned into games / have games made about them.
I already have a pretty extensive list of anime I think could be good, and I think the video will just be covering each of them one by one and explaining how I would turn them into games / which developer should make them / what the ...

Here's my thoughts on my Failure State video!
I always love to make videos on more general topics, since coming up with examples and ideas is more fun when I can do it all around one big, central concept. Specifically, I had this idea about "Death In Video Games" after thinking about Sifu and wanting to make a video talking about it. That idea then transformed more into failure states when I thought about things like Call of Duty's baby flashbang or what NakeyJakey talk...

Most games have something called a failure state. A part of the game you see when you play less than perfectly. Whether it's a game over, death screen, or other way the game fails you, these are core parts of the experience of gaming. So why are so many of them so simple? Let's find out.

My GPU finally arrived! Here's my thoughts on my Cyberpunk video!
This video was a bit different to what it initially started as. The video was initially just going to be a review of the anime, comparing it to the game, but I found the game and anime themselves were the least interesting parts of the story to me. So after enjoying Edgerunners and seeing posts online about Cyberpunk, I decided to do a little case study on the game and CD Projekt Red.
I've seen lots...

Cyberpunk 2077 recently had a revival due to the Edgerunners anime. But what caused Cyberpunk's downfall in the first place? And does it deserve redemption? Let's find out.
(And apologies, as it will be a few days until the behind-the-scenes is released. My GPU died and I can't open premiere pro to get the timeline until I get a new one)

Here's my thoughts on my Q&A video!
This video turned out WAY longer than I thought it ever would be. I am still surprised how many questions everyone had, and how many good ones I got to answer. The total number I believe was 70 unique questions, which is actually pretty good to cover in just over 90 minutes.
I obviously don't have anything to say about the script, ...

Here's my thoughts on my Comfort Games video!
Pretty proud of how this turned out. I think I'm starting to nail down the specifics of my videos going forward. Namely my positioning with the couch and camera, and my sort of editing style for green screen videos.
The script itself was sort of a "filler video" idea I had. Unlike horror or stealth games I don't have any strong feelings about anything in the industry, so it was more of a showcase of positivity for some...

Here's my thoughts on the Fanservice video!
Phew, what a video. Honestly I need to stop letting these things get so out of hand. I had the idea for a piece on fanservice and Fire Force that I thought wouldn't even make it to 15 minutes because I didn't have much to talk about.
...then I did more research on fanservice and its history. I reflected on other shows I had seen. I found a cool video series on fanservice in Kill la Kill (seriously go check out Study of S...

Here's my thoughts on the Chainsaw Man video!
Like I mention in the video, I read all of Chainsaw Man and just fell in love immediately. So the second I caught up to the manga, I started writing the video, and everything went from there. I've also been rewatching Casey Neistat vlogs, which was a surprisingly huge source of motivation. I highly recommend binging them if you want to be motivated to create.
The video itself was very fun. Both to make and to watch onc...

Here's some notes on my Horror Games video!
I think this is, without a doubt, my favorite video I've made. I feel that way about most of the videos I put out, but this one just seems extra special.
Researching the video was like a weeks long process that had me deep diving Wikipedia to find the development history of a bunch of horror games. I then procrastinated a bunch writing the script and getting to record it (family issues and landing a job took priority). A...

Here's some notes on my Starfield video!
This was honestly such an easy to video to make. To the point where I think I could have gotten it out even sooner if I hadn't procrastinated for a couple days. Taking away the green screen element and recording troubles that come with it meant the initial recording was 45 minutes turned into 13, as opposed to nearly 3 hours turned into 30. About 2 layers of video on average instead of 4. I edited this entire thing in basically a...

Here's some notes on my Avatar video!
I personally love the backdrop I added last minute. Some nice color-corrected jungle footage turned out really good. Though I did have to turn the layer off to edit without it constantly buffering, so I forgot to add a drop shadow to some of the text since I was just looking at a black background 😐
Overall, I think my editing has gotten pretty streamlined. I'm pretty good at getting a video finished after I've recorded, and...
