Squid Game S1E07 Watch Along

Hey Peaches! After a quick mental break to regroup from the emotional onslaught of the last episode, we're back. And ready for a new game. This one is 'suspense'-ful. Get it? Like a suspension bridge.... It's a real 'pane' to get across.... Get it? Like a pane of glass.... Ok. Well we learn a lot in this episode about the people watching the game. They have to go all the way to San Fransisco.  What could possibly go wrong on a cross country trip in an apocalypse.......

Hey Peaches! After last weeks nannerboats, out of left field, ending, we find ourselves watching a story from a few days before. A little story about a different ending to the second Avengers movie. And uh, yeah, it's not great for anyone. Anywhere. And probably anywhen. Because Ultron get's his Vision on, and runs roughshod over the universe. And then, because The Watcher can't watch his damn mouth, Ultron gains access to the entire multiverse. A ton of action and emotion awaits.

The apocalypse is not the time to deal with your issues about your mother. Is it compelling, absolutely. But is it also forehead slapping, frustrating? A thousand times yes. The show just keeps getting better, unfortunately Diane Lane's kids keep being the worst.

Hey Peaches! Waow! This show keeps ratcheting up the tension. Yorick quickly learns that being alive is a blessing and curse. Meanwhile power plays are going on behind the scenes as Diane Lane is literally trying to keep the power on for hundreds of thousands of survivors. This show is maddening and compelling all at the same time. We can't wait for more. 

What If? S1E07 Watch Along

Hey Peaches! Adam thought this episode was going to be a little lighter than the previous few with the zombies and evil Doctor Strange. He was wrong. Killmonger goes all Palpatine on the US and Wakanda and it is a sight to behold. They managed to merge Iron Man 1, 2, Black Panther, and a sprinkle of Age of Ultron into a half hour. Hey Peaches! Unholy crap.....we thought last week's episode was dark. We were not prepared for this episode today.  Fortunately the darker the episode the funnier the jokes. Oh, and, this episode has a little conversation about Doctor Strange and Captain Marvel's first movies that I took out of the YouTube cut. Bonus footage!!!  But overall, yikes. Here's hoping that next week's episode is a little more lighthearted. Or at least fun. 

Behind the Scenes 7

Hey Peaches! Hooo boy did we have some things to talk about before filming this past month. We fixed the Matrix sequels, we learned to communicate better, we discussed exchange rates.  It's been a crazy month and Sept. is shaping up to be huge. We have What If still going. Y the Last Man starts in the middle of the month and will be Patreon exclusive, and Star Wars Visions drops at the end of the month. Thanks for another great month Peaches!
