I was in her hometown for some work and we met for some shots in the late evening and called it a day for this trip.

But when i woke up in the morning, i had this amazing blast of sunlight hitting my room, but also only 45 mins to be at my meeting

She came in 10 we shot in 10 and the pictures we made are still some of my very favourite also cos of the story that goes with it.

It is just this enthusiasm from collaborators that keeps me going and pushing for more

I often shoot muses who are also either photographers or self portrait artists or both. This series is about Sharmeestha shooting some self portraits on my camera, the way she sees her frames.

And it also has my frames of her taking these self portraits. This is to show how I see her in my frames.

It was really a quick discussion as she was already doing self ports and we quickly got down to deciding what we wanted to create. She as promised came armed with amazing enthusiasm and lingerie, and commitment.

Commitment cos she was on bed rest till very few days before the shoot and still hurting from an injured rib. But she made no excuses and in fact I had to keep reminding her to go easier on her amazing stretches.

I made Fuji Simulation tweak on a base KodaK Porta 400 and then we also had some beautiful golden light leak on some greens leaving us with these frames. I think we shot in this same position for almost 30 mins , just small movements and light catches . Website has many from these .
