Out of Focus
A lot of creators feel gear does not matter. I truly feel otherwise. Would you enter a F1 with a stock car, would you go deep sea diving in a swimming trunk and bear head, would you ride a bike without a helmet ?
The gear is not to only keep you safe, but also to perform your best, so yes gear does matter.
I am a tech freak and love to get into a fiddle deep down into all my gear menus and keep tickling them to get my aesthetic. This is when I came across the new manual focus lens...

Instagram Sucks
So i am trying to be less and less on Instagram and more here and my website. The platform does not give me any joy in terms of new followers, who are mostly bots or stalkers, who I end up blocking. The reach is poor and so is the engagement. Anyway I have deleted the app on my phone for a week 😂

Nikon vs FUJI
I am using both bodies, Nikon d800 is absolutely the best that is out there as a full frame, all above pictures shot with the Nikon body. U can push it like a Toyota suv and still not break anything be it noise or distortion or focus or anything.
But the Fuji on the other hand I use to replicate a fil like experience. Films are not meant to be razor sharp or noiseless and all that. I mean to say this when I use it with a manual lens and open aperture

In Camera Flashing
Idea was to shoot two muses over the saturday, but as luck would have it one got stuck en route and reached sick.
But then at 11pm she was all fine and said let’s shoot. So we ended up shooting till 4 am / this after having shot the other muse all afternoon and evening.
Collaborations always come with unavoidable challenges, but then being ready to make the most of it is the key to enjoying and creating.

Sometimes a shoot does not get as much time as it should. Could be for a variety of reasons, including muses taking it easy and not sticking to timelines, or finding the location challenges and all that. But the idea is obbviusly to quickly put it all behind you once you start shooting , and to make the best of everything that is available at that moment. I always say, never cry over spilt milk, just save time by ordering the cold coffee.
