I tried a lot of things to see if I could create an atmosphere that matched live-action background images and anime characters.

This is Unity's GameView scene.
In the case of matching a live-action background, the first thing to do is to match the brightness. There are two possible ways to do this: "match the character to the brightness of the background" or "match the background to the b...

We are developing PlayAniMaker ability to export animations in BVH format.

In Avatar mode, you can record animation by specifying the time.
In figure mode, the animation is recorded at the time it was created.
There are two types of animation exports: "humanoid bones" and "full bones". It's almost finished and will be updated soon!

In order to distribute PlayAniMaker for Quest to the AppLab, I've reworked the title screen and other parts of the game to follow the official guidelines. Now I just need to finish the PV.

This is how I made it. (I think it's not enough yet, so I might fix it soon)

Introduction.
I love the atmosphere of anime videos from the 90's and so on.
So this time I'd like to try to recreate the atmosphere of anime images from those days.
When I thought about what is the difference between modern animation and the animation of the 90's, I came up with the difference in the shooting process.
Modern animation is all a shooting process done on a computer (digital processing), but originally, animation was shot one...

The importance of the eyes
The eyes contain a tremendous amount of information. The way you move your eyes can express emotions and convey psychological information.
One of the reasons why some people say that 3D model animations look like dolls is that the expression around the eyes is not good. Conversely, by focusing on the area around the eyes, you can make it come alive.
So, in this article, I'd like to focus on the eye area.
The relationship b...
