There are certain parts of these comics that I just spend an insanely lavish amount of time on (you would think I was totally and completely insane if I told you how long these comic take to create). Ever since I introduced the primary antagonist of the Joey Lynx series (that would be Eleanor Tusk)…I always had this idea to make her a tickling connoisseur. If you follow my tickling comics (and based on the fact that you’re here, I will assume that you do) then you know that I really like to provide a variety of ticklish spots that get explored in those comics. I also like for certain gals to be particularly ticklish in certain spots.

The process of character design is an art unto itself. Especially in a character-centric universe such as our little tickle comic community.
Sometimes the process of creative a new central character is grueling and take a ton of iteration, prototyping, trial and error. But not so with Kyu. Our hot not-so-humble heroine seemed to pop onto the page fully formed and ready to take on the world (or at least to laugh hysterically)!

I don’t know if a lot of you knew this (because in my experience he would only post the finished illustrations)…but Josh Flynn is actually one helluva pencil artist!
His coloring style is so painterly that it sort of hides the structure beneath. But gaze upon these pencils. Do you see how well he’s captured expression and anatomy with just the line work?
