I know in my last post I pretty much signed off for the year, but I realized I forgot to check whether a certain render played well with stylized color grading when I revisited the previous renders — Daylight (2023). I went through more of my renders using the stylized color grading technique I recently learned, and I really liked how these looked as well. There's still a few renders I haven't experimented with, but I don't feel like they're a good fit for this particular post-processing aesthetic, so this is probably the end of the color grade variants. Next up will be getting to work on a Holiday render!

I'm going through some of my older renders that I'm still happy with (or happy enough, at any rate) and this Claire Cyberpunk Nightclub render has aged pretty well relative to how limited my skill sets were at the time. Hey all, here's the variant for Hartbreaker that I mentioned in Thursday's post. While I was working on my original vision for this piece (an underground race meet, inspired by the Fast and Furious film franchise), I drafted this alternate concept. I really like how removing the other cars and changing the backdrop to an outdoor location gives the piece a much more intimate and sensual feeling, which contrasts nicely with the more provocative tone of the original version.
