Here's the .psd file for 373 Dagon's Sanctum. Notice that it is necessary to have Photoshop to use it. Inside you will find that it is all white. That is the uppermost layer, I only use it to make the file preview smaller in size. Once you remove that uppermost layer you'll see the illustration. (it's just one click)

Denizens of the Tower!
This adventure is about a small fishing settlement where the fishermen have been attacked frequently over the past few weeks. Four of them have gone missing recently. It is all the fault of a school of kuo-toa fanatics that look for living human sacrifices. The fish folk recently found an ancient temple to an obscure entity called Dagon. In its sanctum, they conduct dark rituals and sacrifices to gain the favor of the Old One.
The sailors know the place wher...

There is a 25-feet-tall statue of a local folk hero named Tai-Kalum. He was a half-orc fruit vendor who rose to prominence after he confronted the local thugs, killed one of their leaders, lead the populace against those baddies, and then died a hero in the final skirmish. Today, he is remembered as a hero who fought for the safety and values of the common folk.
A new band of itinerant brigands has taken the statue as a good place to collect unlawful tolls to merchants a...

This is an interesting location you are unlikely to find in any place of the Material World. It is the personal dreamscape of King Trup. The king refused to help who turned out to be a forest hag on the road. The hag, in turn, bewitched the king and he feel into a strange stupor from which he cannot wake up from. The court wizard thinks the king's mind is trapped in a kind of metal-maze. He has devised a ritual to let other enter the king's mind to destroy the evil influence...

I'm probably starting to sound like a broken record but... Well I've been marathoning Soulsborne series games and this is yet another Ultra-Lethal dungeon full of traps, incredibly dangerous environmental threats, and encounters that spawn several areas thanks to the verticality of the design. I hope you and your players enjoy this one (they won't). This dungeon is designed to kill whoever visits it. In particular, falling to the lava is the most dangerous thing about this o...

We close the month with this interestingly vertical underground prison. Like I shared in the past publication. I'm exploring ways to make areas interact with each other in tridimensional and vertical ways. This is a level 5 adventure but I must say the environmental hazards are extremely lethal here. It is a large shaft/abyss where adventurers may fall to the next level if they're not cautious. The falling damage alone will sure put a stop to plenty of incautious ...

Hey Travelers!
I have kept exploring the ways I can portray tridimensional locations for my maps. I've been playing games like dark souls and bloodborne where often the areas have verticality and the encounters span several levels and I tried to do the same thing here.
For example, in area 2, there are some undead. But fighting them is not easy because there are undead archers in the corridors above, in area 4. You have to go to area 3 and fight more, in order to reach the archers...

It's time we made a city map! This is Hoban, a cool medium-sized city near a river delta. The city is primarily a farming settlement although the farming activities are to be phased out over the course of a few generations as the city continues to grow.
Hoban has an immediate problem. As the city grows to become an economic hub, it is an attractive target for brigands and raiders. Hoban does not have a wall as of now. Lord Fick has tried to secure funds from the c...

This map is included in the usual variants. We've included an unlabeled version that you can repurpose as something else. This map does not necessarily need the cellar map to work,...

The unexplainable alien-looking lights from Charity Tower and the recent contamination of the underground stream and wells have the populace of Prado Village on the brink of chaos. Chunks of gelatinous black masses on the water make people sick and poison the farms.
A local lord is ready to sling a considerable amount of gold for a group of outsiders to go check out what really is going on at the abandoned tower. Something is amiss, that's for sure. What exactly is the ...
