Happy New Year, Denizens of the Tower!
I hope you all had a wonderful vacations time. Here in Mexico this season becomes an avalanche of celebrations and gatherings. We are still not done since we have the "Rosca de Reyes" celebration tonight. I've gained a few pounds, eaten and drunk like a madman, but perhaps January will be more calm.
This first map of 2020 is a natural cavern that nows serves as the lair of a goblin clan. The leader of this clan is an anomalous goblin of a lar...

Hey, traveler
This is the fourth installment of the brochure adventures series. Similar to my one-page adventures, these include everything in the brochure and they are all system neutral. This one-shot adventure is about a strange cult known as the Congregation of the Crawling Slime. Their leader conscripts people every day and they gather underground in what appears to have been a forgotten temple. Unknown to most of them, their leader is under the influence of a poison. Some st...

Denizens of the Tower!
The end of the year approaches. I hope RPG games were not suspended and that you all have a session soon. We certainly will play on Tuesday and Thursday next week.
This map and adventure is about a ludus (gladiator school) located under the arena. This location is important because three different ludi in the city compete for the best performances. The one with the best warriors gains control of the facilities under the arena and a 1% profit from the ticket ...

Hey Traveler!
This is the story of a satyr named Shiades. We crossed over from the Feywild to the Material Plane by accident trying to follow the sound of a flute he had never heard before. It turned out it was a lumberjack playing it. Shiades was stuck with no easy way to return so he tried to make the best of it. What he thought was a basic knowledge of botany and herbs turned out to make him an expert apothecary among humanoid settlements so he stuck to that and made a life bartering...

Merry Holidays, Denizens of the Tower
I hope this message finds you in a good position of happiness among your loved ones and relatives. Here in México we usually have two or three "christmas" dinners. We call it the "recalentado" which means we just reheat the leftovers for a second or more servings.

My everlasting attempts of making well-designed ships or flying vessels continue! I must say that this particular part of map-making is SO complicated to get right. I've had past attempts ripped to shreds by hobbyist and/or nautical experts that know better than I. But I inch closer to the best attempt and this is a good contender. This is Duskbringer. A flying vessel that uses a floating balloon and two elemental engines.
The fire elemental (Area 3) is used to shoot fi...

Hey, traveler,
This is Howard's toyshop. He makes all kinds of toys, dolls, trinkets, and things people would not consider toys. His home doubles up as store in the first level. There's a workshop in the back store and another one on the second floor. Howard is a strange disorganized man who lives alone and dedicates his life to make toys. He never married and has no remaining living relatives. People tend to shun him for being so strange, in their opinion. He has better luck with child...

This is Straster City. A large settlement located inside a mountainous bay. Its location and orography give it a good strategic value and defensibility. The city is known for its plentiful fish products exports, natural hospitality, but most of all, because of the implacable justice system. Hey there, traveler!
This is the town of South Hildberg, an idyllic place removed from most of the atrocities in a fantasy world. It is located south of a large capital and close to the sea. The place has never seen war or conflict. But times are changing and even the relatively safe countryside is becoming a place to be cautious about. There are tales of savage bandits and orc clans roaming the lands but they have not dared attack South Hildberg. Not that they'll have any trouble doing...
