Lot of commissions this past batch with full rendering, toying with textures I don't really draw, and helping me evaluate my time and prices. Plus, some absolutely massive round shapes.
I'm going to be making preps to take a mental health break. Got to recharge my batteries after this year and these art challenges. So that means finishing up sketchbook and comic for the rest of the month! Ohohohoho!

Practicing a new level of drawing- Something quick and doodley! Something to combat my perfectionism when it comes to lining and rendering- something I could use for quick sequences!
So some quickies that each took me less than an hour- Opal the big busted creepy gal, Abyssal Lush mistress of darkness, and Libra- the current human x goblin antagonist of my Pathfinder game!
Still need to play around with my brushes- and keep lowering the amount of shading I want to do XD

Upgraded Sketch Book drawings from July!
It can be a little mind numbing to work on a rendering piece after rendering piece- the amount of detail gets overwhelming and honestly, I feel like a much slower content creator. SO- I took the past lil' while to really dive into the sketch upgrades and see what I can do!
The first two tied for most votes and so they get the full shading and scaling up! While the remaining three all got more than one, so stayed the same size but...

I impulse bought a set of brushes! Like, literal watercolour/calligraphy brushes- To see how they feel when it comes to drawing!
I like the effect, I can see why some comic artists use brushes over pens. I dunno if it's for me..... but I do appreciate how they put down large bits of atmospheric ink +w+

It was a slower week for commissions, no real reason, I just didn't take the time to focus on them instead of other responsibilities or art urges. I'll be sending out invoices for some fresh ones soon so should be a bigger batch for next week!

Here's a dump of ink drawings I've been doing! I like the idea of being able to take quick ink drawings as commissions at conventions or fairs, and having a physical sketch book. So been polishing my skills.
There's a lot here- from entire concepts for adventure or goofy comics, to illustrations of whales, wendigos, and vampires.

I was thinking about absurdly huge crossovers, Super Smash Brothers, Super Robot Wars, old fanfictions I used to read. And thought about how it'd be kinda fun to daydream about making my own. Oh, but what would I make one about? I don't watch or read anything. Nothing that would blend well into a single setting... I guess it'd be kind of funny to combine Ducktales with Invincible.
Wait.... there is one genre I consume without restraint and without a lick of irony.... Zombie Media!
