It's that time of week, patreon update week!

So, as I've said on social media and last week for my wolf patrons. Now I'm saying it here.

I got an art grant! I proposed a project, it and my portfolio got reviewed, and now I've got a new set of responsibilities and income for the next six months! Hooboy, this is going to be a whole thing. It's an amazing opportunity- But it does mean, I have no idea what my output for the next six months is going to be.

Lush's Portfolio Expansion! Week 1

So, I've got some exciting news!

A few months ago, I applied for an art grant. With the stated project being to expand my portfolio and practice in some other mediums that I've been wanting to learn. And, I got it!

There's still some paperwork to process and some specifics to iron out. But, I've been approved for the grant to go forward with my portfolio expansion! So, I've got a number of pieces that are promised by the project's end date. And, the rest is up to me.

Drawdlings of the Week! Oct 12

Mix of draws this week, some brainstorming for an rpg table top game I'm wanting to host. Another stream announcement pic. And, I tried to get my brain juices flowing by just going to town with brainstorm scribbling. I think it worked, cause the ideas came faster the more of them I did.

Also, not wanting to draw hair resulted in that funny aesthetic of them all having shaved heads. I kind of like it.

It's that time of the week! Art dump update!

Here's everything I worked on this week- this week I spent a lot of time focusing on finishing up a lot of the commissions in my queue, and had a short detour for some bloody silly halloween shenanigans and some hyper fixation on softness.

And a lot of commission sequences this week too, it gets me inspired. Though for what, I'm not quite sure yet... but that's pretty much what I got up to!

Cat & Bal - Movie Night

This week, I wanted to see how long it'd take me to make a short strip of Catherine and Bal-Luna. A four panel strip is the other format I've considered using. I think it could work! It definitely lends itself more to gags than the kinky stuff. But, will take more practice.

Also, a silly little edit of Bal smoking a joint- cause my friends thought it'd be funny.

You know, one of the harder things for my brain to wrap around sometimes is the visual disparity between a couple finished coloured pieces. And an entire plethora of doodles and sketches. It's literally- quality vs quantity. Shakes head.

That said- I'm really proud of these finished drawings, especially that first one. It feels like in an effort to make "more" stuff- I've not taken the time to play and practice colours as much as I used to. As much as I want to. So it's a light...

New Work Station! Draws of the Week!

First week of September, and with that came, a new computer! Ayyyyy!

Whenever I save up and invest in some new equipment for my work. I just... I'm so grateful. I'm grateful to you my patrons, to my commissioners. I just- it feels amazing to be able to support myself and reinvest into my craft- with the results of my craft. Thank you, all so much.

Draws of the Week! Aug 24!

Not very many draws this week, sorry peeps! Between not being able to see my FA commissioners, a lot of humming and hawing over projects and brainstorming, and some doctors appointments and errands.

I just got a few commissions and doodles to share this week.

To help organize my thoughts, I did open up a new channel for Wolf Patrons in the discord. Going into full detail all of the various ideas and projects I've been dreaming up. So, hopefully gonna be able to get my duck...

I had to clean up and blow up the page to the size I actually want to finish it in! So here's the in progress update for the Cat & Bal comic!

I'm trying to decide what art style I want to do for it... black and white? Try out some tones? Flat colour? Fully coloured? Hmmm.... If you have any thoughts let me hear them :D

Little bit slower this week- I got the household to myself so I've spent more time prettying up the place and doing some deeper cleaning on top of the normal work. But I've still got some pics to show y'all!

Some commissions, both squishy and delightfully new! A couple for funsies doodles. And, the thumbnail for my next game I'm streaming! Amnesia the Bunker! A game this scary and potentially frustrating demanded some new expressions for my streaming avatar.

I tried to introduce as much of the characters dynamic as possible- Catherine's ambition for love but also recklessness into it, Bal's gremlin single mindedness, and set some ground rules for how his powers work.

Now I've just got to decide how I want it to look . . . Shading? Tones? Flats? Full colours? Decisions decisions!

Cat & Bal - World of Kinks

I've had a lot of ideas following my road trip. But this one in particular went wild with the inspiration and concepts just kept flowing.

The World of Kinks (or Cat & Bal as I think it should be called going forward) follows Catherine. A young woman on a quest for love (or a harem, she can't really tell). The problem is- she's searching for story book romance with the butterflies and heart racing and all that- and she might have aromantic tendencies... So it's gonna be...

Welp, I'm back!

I was on a road trip to see family on the mainland and I just got back this morning. Need to rest from the driving, but, I can throw up the few doodles I made while I was out and about!

Traditional art is somehow, both relaxing and more stressful. It's like- nostalgic- and loosey goosey- but you can't easily take things back. So the perfect activity for resting XD

Draws!!! Of the Week!!!

Now, this was the week to end all weeks! I managed to hit a stride not just with commissions, but also just having fun again. Friends and followers eased some of my worries about using my self insert for things. So I just let the inspiration flow.

Lots and lots of thirsty as heck doodles.

And now at the end of the week, I've got the urge to practice short sequences and comics again. Try to get my writing chops back after all the nonsensical horniness. +w+

A lot of relaxy doodles this week, sorry peeps!

I was just so exhausted after my offline obligations the past few days. Catering to a big dinner party and recovering from cleaning up afterwards. XD

My inspiration and drives recovering is coming along well, slowly but surely- Wanting to ride the inspiration train! Even if I have a hard time juggling all the things I want to do. Curse this hyper-fixation brain.

A World, From the Beginning...

I enjoy world building, I like to world build just for the sake of world building. I've no iron clad intents for this world building map so far, inklings like it being my sort of- "Default setting" for non-real earth/alternate history stuff. Or a possible table top rpg campaign setting. Or- just because I like world building. It's a hobby that takes me to all sorts of weird places.

Like even just this point had me googling things like wind current patterns, mineral distribution, and how...

Weekly Drawings for June 15th!

But funnily enough, I think that the most interesting thing is the last minute doodle collection I was inspired to make after seeing the new Inside Out movie. I liked it, and the general theming was a good little reminder to like- ground myself and think about how I relate to my job...
