Did some testing today to get a good rhythm for possible pages, making sure they aren't prohibitively time consuming to do. I also wanted to get a good feel for drawing the rabbit armor over and over.

A test page for the PAB project I've been doodling in. I actually did this page last year as a test, and it got lost in all the goings on. When I start it again, seriously, I probably won't start it at the same place. A few things:
I'm pondering either going with this, since it's familiar, or going with a pure black and white traditional manga style, with shading. But probably this.
The warp-speed effects are strictly from hunger, and I'd need to work on something better.

Found the time to finish coloring this quick drawing this week, in between doing lots of comic work for the adult only Patreon. I don't like Fenny's hair and want to come up with a change for it. I also want to work out Behruff's pattern once and for all, and nail it down for future consistency.

This started out as something quick to do on a Saturday and I'm probably going to finish it up and color it as I have the time. I just wanted to draw some of the slice of life around these characters a bit to get a better feel for them.
I'll fix a few perspective points, and probably add some more greeble at the top left to balance it out, as well as stuff underneath the cargo netting.

Put aside the time to finish this up. I should some day really get down and design their rifles and come up with some futurey-bullshit technology that drives it. The loose idea for her rifle I had was some kind of gauss style electric rail thing. When I write stories, I don't tend to think of the specifics of "things" in the world first. They're kind of just symbols for ability at first.

Finished this up as a nice Saturday project. This was practice with lots of implied motion, and then working more on colors and fuzz depiction. That, and I like drawing athletic, competitive girls.
I also just want to draw Clarice more in general. I think I spelled her name with an "S" in the prior post. I had to look back at old comics to realize it was spelled with a C. Oops.

I found the time to wrap this up today. There are some things about the rifle that are off, but it's not easy keeping it all in proportion and perspective without just doing a straight on profile image of it. Ah well. I know everyone cerakote's everything today, but I'm kind of a sucker for the weather-worn used look of a regular painted rifle.
