"Crescent fresh" (which is generally assumed to mean "cool") has become sort of a Liz catchphrase so I just have to mention every now and then that I did not make that one up myself. Like a handful of other aspects of Liz, it's a reference to the lovably bizarre puppet show, Sifl and Olly, that ran on MTV for one whole year in the late 90's. Pour one out for Precious Roy.

Trying something a little different this week! For the longest time I had this idea about Casey reacting in-canon to how Abbey has grown quite a bit more busty lately.  It's not really substantial enough to build a scene around in the main comic, so I thought I'd try kind of a hybrid pin up/comic scene to present the concept.

Elder Scrolls Twins and Kayden

This commission for Klaus imagines my characters Trish, Mary, and Kayden as part of the Skyrim/Elder Scrolls universe, which I personally thought was a great concept. With Trish and Mary as giant Nord women and Kayden as a small, fussy high-elf, well, I guess some relationship dynamics stay the same no matter what universe we're in. XD

As the cover quite heavily implied, the theme of this chapter is characters acting not quite themselves for one reason or another. Though in Liz's case here, we're starting with a bit of a softball. It's been implied once or twice already in the game and side stories that she drops the slang and slips into normal/borderline eloquent speech when partaking in sexual activity. Even so, I thought it fit to open with her here.

Reinbach is on Summer Vacation Next Week!

That I am! Next week is one of two weeks per year where I take time off to recharge. When I finish a chapter I try to leave readers with a bit of a punch. The last reaction I want is a "what the hell is going on here," and I realize that was a very real danger on this one. 

Basically I hope for readers to take away at least one of two things from this page: One is that Switch has a new power since the events of the visual novel. If she had the ability to detect other Crawlers back then, there wouldn't have been much of a story. So this is new.

I was a little concerned that Parker's kiss would seem to come out of nowhere, but I did establish in an earlier scene with Holly that Parker has a way of kissing girls when they make her feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

It occurs to me now that Switch was much nicer in the visual novel than she was in her original eponymous comic. I figure that stemmed from the circumstances of the bonding to her host being different in both stories. In the VN she was out to solve a mystery, not serve as Isaac's full-time conscience.
