There are certainly plenty of upsides to landing a deal with a publisher if you can swing it, but I'm extremely thankful for the modern creative landscape where that's not exactly required. It's easier than ever to get your work out there without having to get someone else's permission first, and that rules.

Millie is a bit unique among her peers in TRW. She doesn't find sex to be quite as trivial, and has a way of getting attached afterwards. This was probably pretty obvious to anyone who played through her quest in the prequel VN, but I want to show it in the main comic as well.

This commission for Squid Hills features their ass-kicking, shovel-swinging Shadowrun Ork, Blitzen, and this was a fun job to take on. It reminded me of back when I first opened up commissions six years ago, where I not only got hired to draw hot ork women pretty frequently, but ended up working in the Shadowrun universe pretty often as well. I took an online class in cartoon character design once, and all the knowledge I retain from it just screams that Chloe's look is way off from what it should be. Cartooning preaches to make sure a character's design also showcases their personality.
