Rein Con 2021 is underway! For the month of July, two TRW characters per week will show off four costumes each that were suggested by supporters. This commission for Slaughterbug (who also provided the dialog) is what I imagine to be the Reinbach versions of Luna, Ginny, and Hermione from Harry Potter, in that they're all eighteen and, aside from a few costume props, I tried to make them look distinct from the actresses who played them in the movies. Two pages this week, largely in the name of how much dialog it will take to explain exactly what's been bothering Nadine. It think it's all important and shouldn't be trimmed, but when there's this much talking going on it can bury the art in a hurry. I hope this page lands the way I wanted it to. I liked the idea that the instant Nadine got off she'd need zero coaxing to unload what was bothering her, I just really struggled with getting that out on the page in what I felt was an entertaining way. The art and especially the dialog got reworked a lot, right up until the last minute, so if you have any feedback I'd love to hear it.
