Patreon Pin Up 2/17/25: Momiji Wallpaper

For this pic I had this sort of gag premise in mind where Ryu notices his village is under attack in the distant forest while an oblivious Momiji is stroking his pole. (If you've played Ninja Gaiden, you know that damn village is always under attack.) But when the rubber hit the road the joke wasn't landing for me the way I wanted it to and was just kinda confusing in its presentation. So I deleted the village and was left with a pin up that had an oddly spacious and scenic backdrop. I still liked the mountain and didn't want to just crop the whole image so I thought I'd call this one a wallpaper. If you like, your desktop folders can go where the burning village was!

I go way back with Ninja Gaiden. From the original games on the NES that to this day, no one anywhere has ever beaten (and if anyone says otherwise they are a liar!) to the reboot trilogy of the Xbox era. The reboot games take place in the same universe as Dead or Alive so naturally every woman that our hero encounters is a glamour model stuffed into fetish wear and I wouldn't have it any other way. 

Momiji here was my favorite out of all of them somehow. I say "somehow" because I can't really pin down what it was I liked about her above the others. Maybe it's because she's Ryu's apprentice and when it comes to fiction I have an unhealthy obsession with unbalanced power dynamics. Who's to say? 

In any case we've got two new games coming out this year and I hope Momiji shows up in at least one of them. It's a fun time, when a series you like makes a big comeback after being long thought dead and buried. Do you have an example of such an instance that comes to mind? Any games that surprised you with a big comeback or maybe a series that you're still hoping that will happen with? I could talk about this stuff all day.

Casey and Raina having a sexual history together has never come up in the comic itself. So far it's only been shown in canonical commissions and strips. So I felt the need to throw in that bit of expository dialogue here reminding readers just who all these players are and their connection to each other. It occurred to me that if someone was just reading TRW they might not even know about the connection of Casey being Raina's girlfriend's daughter.

Come to think of it Raina might be a bit scandalous even by TRW standards lol. Between Casey, Miles, and Sylvia, she's officially done it with that whole family. Quite a milestone there. As for Casey I think it makes sense that Isaac was only half the reason she came to this house on this particular morning. She's never taken rejection well. To me it tracks that she might seek solace in another pair of equally huge breasts to make herself feel better.

Well the topic of exposition delivery and how to try and do it well has certainly been a prevalent one in these blogs lately. This goal of this page is to begin to to properly recap the visual novel for those who have only read the comic. It was always my intent to make sure you didn't need to play the VN to follow the comic, and I'll be doing my best to deliver on that in the chapters to come.

For Casey's look here what I was going for was pretty much Sylvia 2.0. I like trying different looks for her, and this time the idea was "What if she dressed exactly how her mother wanted her to for once." Meanwhile I've brought back Isaac's bedroom from the VN, though with a couple of changes. He finally got around to changing the month on the Milf calendar, for example.

Also I hope you can all forgive me for cutting away from Casey and Switch in the shower so quickly. That wasn't going to go how Casey hoped, and Switch telling her "no horni" didn't feel like a concept I should devote a whole page to. I figure Switch wouldn't make it that easy. She'd have something Casey would have to do to earn sex with her. Any guesses on what that would be? If so I'd love to hear about it and thank you as always for supporting the comic!

Patreon Pin Up 2/3/25: Role Playing

Ever since the strip series I did about this group, I've wanted to put Morgan in a Warren and Douglas sandwich. I was stopped by the fact that canonically Morgan isn't currently in a threesome sort of place sexually or mentally in the comic. But then I remembered that I've already established fantasy counterparts for these three so I've got myself a workaround! Not to say Morgan wouldn't be down for a non-roleplay sort of threesome with these two at some point down the line, just not yet. 

While typing just now I realized it's actually a foursome here. I think Fairy Mandi might want to find a safer place to grind on before long. XD

Made it! Thank you for waiting! I've also included a quick painted version of the Casey chibi from my delay announcement because she went over surprisingly well on the Discord server. 

So what threw a wrench into my cogs here? Well, what I had planned initially just ended up feeling like a boring exposition dump to me, I guess. I felt like it was necessary to show Halver catching Casey up on who he was and his mission because I worry that things would be getting confusing otherwise. (How does he know who she is already, for example. The fact that he knows Casey's deal quite well from being bonded to Lydia isn't exactly spelled out here and that feels like something readers could use a reminder of.) I try to make lore explanations entertaining in some way if I can but in this case I just couldn't swing it with what I had. There was no choice but to go back to the drawing board Wednesday night. 

In the end maybe this page is an over-correction that skips around too much in the name of not getting bogged down. I feel what I'm trying to say is summed up quite nicely by that last panel. Was it a bit of an abrupt cut for them to be suddenly be in the shower together? Maybe. Was this more visually interesting than just having them be still on the bed? I think so, and interesting won the day. I hope my gambles paid off well enough for you and I'd love to hear your feedback either way. 

TRW Needs an Extra Day to Cook This Week

If you've been around awhile you know that one of the most insidious threats to my release schedule is the scenario where I get a page more than half drawn before I realize that something about the writing/concept is fundamentally flawed in a way that the completed artwork can't be salvaged and I have to simply start the page over. 

The good news is the page is rewritten and I think the pages to come will be better than they would have been before this little course correction. The bad news is that it cost me time and I won't be ready by tomorrow night. TRW hits on Friday this week. Sorry for the delay. And I hope you like it when it's ready! 

Rogue Liz and Frank

This commission for OffDaCheney is canonical and takes place immediately after the events of Rein Con, a cosplay contest that Liz participated in. A wildly unfair contest where the laziest costume was deemed the winner. On top of that, Liz had been led to believe she'd have to wrestle the other contestants for the prize. A lie that was only exposed after she'd thrown Morgan around a little first.

Liz left the event still angry. She needed someone she could get really, really rough with and she needed it right away. She called up Kristina's dad, Frank, as she was certain he could take whatever she threw at him.

If I can, I want to work in little touches here and there to reflect that Switch's human disguise isn't perfect. How she's handling that cupcake is my first attempt in that regard.

Meanwhile I actually found a semi-organic way to work in how Halver was able to know which room to wait for her in! It's not crucial but it was needling me anyway not to have it explained.

And why yes, Casey did hang up the phone and then immediately drive to one of two hotels to start peeking in windows! As ever, she really does take full advantage of how being a woman that looks like her can get away with being creepy.

Patreon Pin Up 1/20/25: Holly's Stream

I figure it's been awhile since I did a pin up that was adjacent to what was currently going on in the comic. This one is canon and takes place during the current scene (that being Switch and Halver in the motel, if you're reading this from the future.)

This idea kind of got away from my initial concept for it, I'll admit. Story-wise it was intended to showcase that as horni as Holly is for Switch, she actually slightly prefers guys over girls so the idea was that she's going to lose her mind when she sees Halver. That still holds true but didn't really end up being showcased in the work itself here. Ah well, I like how this turned out anyway and I hope you guys do too!

You know for all the sexually confident ladies in my comics I don't think I've presented a real female dom before. Not like this, anyway.

Granted, none of my previous males had a servant/queen relationship with their female partner. I suppose Mary pushed around Kayden a bit, but that was more like bullying than dominating. I don't know, I confess I don't have a ton of knowledge on what qualifies as what. But I did learn that "female dominating sex pose" is a wild ride of a Google search.

This commission for Shad0w45 features their characters, Kaitlyn and Daniel, quite possibly about to make a baby! I like her look and body type, myself, the way she's built reminds me of the Carter twins from the comic. I liked working on this and I hope you like how she turned out!

I hadn't put a ton of thought into what Switch and Halver's dynamic would have been like on their home world, but after making this page I think this is exactly the kind of relationship I'd like for them to have had all along. Halver working tirelessly for her favor only never quite get rewarded the way he's hoping for is pretty funny to me, personally. 

Anyway I feel like Switch is too thoughtful of others to trash the hotel room but I think that bed might be getting broken at least. Hope you guys like the page! 

Patreon Pin Up 1/6/25: Hulkenberg

First pin up of 2025! This time it's the lady knight, Hulkenberg, from Metaphor: Refantazio. I finished it recently and while I won't be spoiling anything, I will be talking a little bit about the characters here so beware if you have plans to play it and want to go in completely blind.

The biggest thing that I'll remember about Metaphor is how solid the main cast was. Hulkenberg here is my favorite but just barely.  To me there really was no weak link in this party, which is just bananas. In my experience nearly every RPG has at least one Cait Sith who can stay the fuck off of my away team. But Metaphor's cast is tight as a drum. I think it's the trope subversion that tips them into the net for me. Like how the token adorable varmint character is also a brooding old timer with a tragic past. Or how the token male sidekick this time is also a foot taller and a hundred times cooler than the player avatar. I love those kind of curve balls and there are plenty to go around in this crew.

The main villain, man, they really knocked it out of the park with this guy. I'm so tired of sympathetic villains in my media. (And while I'm at it, twist villains could afford to take a day off too.) I think scenery-chewing, unabashedly evil bastards prone to grand monologues need to make a comeback. You really, really want to punch this guy in the face for the entire game, and that means he did his job exceptionally.

If you want a review of the gameplay I'd say: "You know Persona? It's like Persona." And then I'd turn the lights off and wait for you to leave. That might be a touch reductionist to be fair. Many of Persona's rough edges have been smoothed over (no more wasted visits with companions who aren't ready to bond!) But it's all still pretty familiar territory on that front.

Coming up on 400 pages here! If it's anything like any of the other such milestones so far maybe something cool will happen immediately before or after the big one. XD

The biggest thing that sticks out to me in this scene is what a role reversal it is for Halver, I suppose. He's been shown as a fairly reserved teacher character himself up til now, where he gets to be a flustered student instead.

As for Switch I can already tell that her attitude here is going to be a challenge for me to present. I mean, she's calm and in charge but she's also going to be feeling pretty good here pretty quick. Cupcakes weren't the only thing she was really looking forward to experiencing again in her human body.

Nadine and Morgan

This commission for ScuzzBucket is, in fact, a record breaker. This is easily the biggest individual job I've ever been hired for! This one is a what-if scenario with Nadine and Morgan from the comic getting it on. This may be non canon but I could see them making pretty good partners, actually. Nadine's motherly boss demeanor would be a solid match for Morgan once she flips into simpering sub mode.

In any case I'm really happy with how this turned out. Hope you guys like it too!

EDIT: I thought Halver's expression in panel two looked kind of derpy in the cold light of day. Also I thought he should be looking his queen in the eyes when he addresses her.

Last page of 2024! I hope everybody had a good Christmas. I went to a nice dinner party with some friends who also live nowhere near their relatives and then zoned out playing Metaphor Refantazio for the night after that. About as good a holiday as I could ask for.

Switch isn't immune to sexual arousal while in her human body. (Where would the fun in that be, right?) That said, I don't picture her getting uncontrollably horny or doing it with just anyone, either. It makes sense that she'd have more self control than the average Castlewood resident. Whereas Halver finds himself on the opposite side of that coin since he has no control at all. I hope you're interested to see how this scene plays out. I've never presented a dynamic between sex partners quite like this one before.

It is Indeed Christmas Soon!

And how is everyone doing on that front? Travel plans secured? Presents wrapped? Politically neutral conversation topics prepared for a dinner table full of family members you aren't particularly close with? Well on my end my present to me is that I'll be taking Christmas Day off this week. Meaning TRW will post on Friday instead of the usual Thursday.

I don't really need to take the day off, I guess. I'm hundreds of miles from my nearest family member and I visited them all last month. But I find there's something inherently sad and even kind of silly to be your own boss and still make yourself work on Christmas Day. I don't want to give myself any crazy ideas about unionizing so I think I'll take it easy this Wednesday.

Christmas Pin Up 12/23/24

It's been awhile since I drew the OG couple of Casey and Royce. Considering how nice a room they're in here I'll say this one takes place during Switch when they still lived together. XD

Casey and Royce are quite fitting for the last pin up of 2024, it turns out. As this week marks the tenth anniversary since my first post over at Hentai Foundry back in 2014. I've been making comics for ten years now! The time has truly flown. Every year it still feels like a miracle that I'm somehow getting away with this being my full time job. If you're reading this, that's thanks to you and your support. I'm grateful as always and I hope to keep your interest in my work through 2025!

To me it makes sense that if your true form is a skeletal demon that doesn't even have a lower jaw, you would absolutely struggle to form words during your first time piloting a human body. Especially if your species communicates through thoughts alone, right? Whether that was worth devoting four panels to is another conversation but I stand by my choice.

So Halver was Switch's right hand man back on their home world and he's been eager to resume his duties for quite some time now. Casey is not going to like this lol.

I often complain about the downsides of being able to only produce one page per week of an ongoing story. But taking things one page at a time has its upsides as well. One of which is that I have the ability to make easy changes on the fly based on reader feedback. In this case, the number of comments I got last week about whether or not Switch was talking about eating cupcakes or eating "cupcakes" with a wink was directly responsible for the first two panels of this page here. XD

Meanwhile I'm attempting a cliffhanger once again! As always I hope that you're sufficiently cliff-hung, and that you're looking forward to seeing how the queen handles one of her subjects next week.  

Patreon Pin Up 12/9/2024:Sylvia Wallpaper Pack

I thought about spacing out these themed wallpapers out of fear that it would be a bit repetitious to post such similar pieces back to back. But then I figured that since Sylvia here is the last one I'll be doing in this style I may as well just finish the set now.

I appreciate that Sylvia's popularity seems to have endured among readers even though, like Raina, she's had little presence in the comic itself so far. In Sylvia's case I actually do believe it might be a less is more sort of situation. TRW Sylvia is less extreme than her original version but she's probably still crazy enough that if she showed up in every scene she would get exhausting after awhile. XD

In any case I hope you guys liked this set of wallpapers/hologram card concepts! If you have any ideas for cards especially I'd love to hear them. I want to do more in the future, I just think it's time to try something different with the next one.

I had to put some thought here into how Vincent perceived Switch before the late stages of their time together where she took on the appearance of a cop. In the visual novel when she first appears to Isaac, she wasn't wearing anything. But that didn't really fit the vibe I was going for in that fourth panel so I had to get to thinking on what her more advanced but still vestigial look might be before her host had a chance to form a solid opinion about her. I settled on a swimsuit made of crawler scales and I stand by it.

Fun fact about this page, the file got corrupted today when I had maybe two hours of work left on it. If sometime this afternoon you heard an anguished, impotent cry of "NOOOO!" echoing across the empty horizon, that was me. Thankfully a quick Youtube video about where Clip Studio keeps its backups delivered me from a cruel fate but man that was an emotional roller coaster there.

In any case the real question is would you still be able to finish if you had someone staring at you like that. Hope you like the page!

Patty and Olivia Swap Partners

This commission for Karmagik features his characters, Patty and Olivia, doing some sharing! Though what I love about this one is that Olivia is so unfaithful to her husband that she brought another guy named Keenan to the couple swap. An premise that would be right at home in TRW. XD

Anyhow these characters are from a comic called Book Club and you can find Karmagik's work right here if you're interested. I had just as much fun drawing these two here as I did the first time and I hope you guys like how it turned out!

I swear that's a real robe, I got it from photo reference. It's meant to be dark and see-through, but I found that when you cast a bright light on transparent fabric it seems to just disappear. Which makes Lydia look like she's ready for some kind of sex karate with that robe tie looking like a black belt. Rad as that might sound, it's unintentional on my part. And if I was going for a more serious vibe in this scene I'd have probably reworked it. XD

Back with Monday pin ups! I took a break from the key party theme this time because after busting ass to finish TRW by Saturday night, I realized on Sunday morning that I was too burned out to come up with a new milf in time for a pin up and I needed something conceptually simpler that I could start on right away. Our merch shop numbers tell me that you guys like the holographic cards and you really like Raina. Her individual standees are already almost completely gone, which is insane. I'm thinking I'll do one more character with this theme and background to make it feel like an even set with the Casey and Bria cards before moving on to something different.

In any case I'm just glad to see that this particular wine-chugging stepmom has gone over so well with so many of you. Hope you like the wallpapers and I'll see you Thursday with more TRW!

And we're back with TRW! As usual I don't have much to add here on a sex montage page. So instead I'll mention that I had a great vacation and I feel nice and recharged for now. Also I'm thrilled to announce that the second wave of standees has been a big success so far! I couldn't be happier at what a hit these have been with you guys and I'm already hard at work on wave three.

Schedule for the Week

Making a quick post here to let you know what's going down when as my vacation comes to a close. The headline is that TRW will post on Saturday night this week instead of Thursday. 

My flight back to Florida leaves Tuesday morning well before sunrise. I have secured a the most winding flight path possible across America with nice long layovers dividing the three separate planes it will take to get me there. It's going to suck ass, frankly. When I wake up Wednesday morning, if I wake up at all, I won't be in any state to crank out a decent comic page in just two days so I'm giving myself some breathing room ahead of time.

That's all for now. My vacation has been awesome and I'm grateful for the time off to take it. But I'm ready to get back to work! :)

Miss Castlewood V 0.15 Alpha Release

Here comes the new game! Casey and Bria should both be able to be completed in this build. Kal has basically had to learn a whole new language to build a visual novel in Unity instead of Ren'py so we're still smoothing out rough edges and have yet to get the gallery to work properly. But I'm pleased with what's here and look forward to adding new girls and improvements as we go.

I know I always say I appreciate feedback but I especially mean it this time. This game is for supporters first and if there's anything you'd like to share with us about your experience with it, please do so right here in the comments, DMs, or the Discord server. Same goes for bugs or performance issues you'd like to report. I am still on vacation visiting family until next Tuesday though, so forgive me if I'm slow to respond at times.

This Romantic World Page 383 and I'm on Vacation Next Week

I don't really feel like I could get away with being coy about who our masked guest here is. Even without the beauty mark, Mandi's giant ass is a dead giveaway. I put some thought into what kind of disguise she might have. At first I was thinking a more elaborate masquerade sort of look. But I couldn't find one in that style that I liked and just sort of drifted to the Jem and the Holograms look we've got here. I think it suits her, even if Jem was a bit before her time.

Meanwhile I haven't forgotten about Halver, he's just taking a bit to get where he's going. Being unclothed and on foot is sure to slow a guy down, right?

As for the second half of this post: I'm on winter vacation next week! No comic or pin up next week as I'm off to visit family before the holiday travel rush hits. I've actually already left, I just busted ass to get this page done before my flight so I'd have something ready today. I'll be back home on the 19th and while I might not be able to make a new TRW page in time for Thursday the 21st, it should only run a day or two behind schedule.
