Mindless luxury and solitary confinement made the flexing prince realize that there’s actually one area where he’s lagging behind his brother: magic. He thought that what he couldn’t get via learning and hard work - he will get with money. He had a wizard brought to his domain from a distant land and took to (some say coerced) into service. Yet the wizard proved to be more shrewd than the prince would’ve guessed and opened a portal to his homeland and who knows where e...

Hi there,
I'm getting a lot of messages about the Editor, so I thought I’d summarize the major points about the current situation and my plans for the future. First of all, I’m thankful for everyone who’s supporting the development of Editor and for those forwarding bugs and errors to me - these are of tremendous help in order to make Editor the best thing possible.
Unfortunately, the corrections didn’t go at the pace I required because the programmer I ...

Once upon a time, there was a wise king - an elderly monarch of a small kingdom. He had two sons: the older one being a handsome charmer, a skillful combatant, and a follower of elite fashion, the younger one quite the opposite - a secretive bookworm, a magical adept, and a stooped weirdo.
Thus it came as a surprise how the king named his younger son as his successor and inheritor of all his wealth.

The sea is endless, yet it's full of natural hazards. Due to its incalculable size, it's quite rare for one ship to meet another one on open waters.
A newbie seafarer might lose themself and cry out in joy when seeing another sail or mast over the horizon. However, the sight curdles those old salts' stomach since they know that another ship seldom means good news. If it's a harmless merchant, then it's soon to disappear in the distance - those on board also know it's better...

Generous Chaotic Good Patrons get an extra rainy day version of the rocky ledge scene with a circle of stones prop (can be used and turned to a night scene with the Dynamic Dungeons Editor). It can be a good encounter scene when adventurers run into stone giants.

"Above the tree line, carved into the slide of a rocky mountain spur, is a wide, torchlit cave that looks like the gaping maw of a great wolf."

I'm sure that not only those who are into the Curse of Strahd adventure module will enjoy these maps, as they can be placed in any other setting.
The cave is so big that one location is not enough to displa...

I got to like this jungle theme so much that I dedicate another reward for it if you don’t mind.
Now I’m bringing you the pyramid that I mentioned in the previous post, and with many designs: It could be an ancient burial site or an altar of a god, whose followers still perform some unholy sacrifices for it.

We hopefully reached a point where even our parents’ generation understands that role-playing games have nothing to do with some errant youth’s conjurer sessions.
We don’t do candles or rap the letters of the alphabet in poltergeist style.
Or do we?

Table becomes flat screen, flat screen turns map, and map becomes table again. We go full circle, the gho...

Not only do the dangers of extreme cold get under the skin of our adventurers, but also into their psyche. High peaks and the biting cold of nearly frozen oceans make your minds weary.
It’s a miracle how travelers returning from such realms speak about a giant furry creature crossing ice and snow with firm and steady steps in the midst of severe blizzards.
Did insanity take over their consciousness? Could this monster be a bizarre dead-end of evolution? Or is it mer...

I have brought you four new locations of Wave Echo Cave: firstly, Mine Tunnels and South Barracks, where according to the adventure the adventurers will face an ochre jelly and a pack of ghouls.
I was eager to recreate this part so that it can be used in a totally different campaign, like in a haunted dungeon with its labyrinthine lairs and ruined halls. I think even those can fit it into their stories who have already played LMOP or not even planning.

What kind of encounter are you looking forward to in the courtyard of Castle Ravenloft?
"A massive wall juts out to connect the outer walls of the castle with the keep. A twenty-foot-wide, twenty-foot-tall archway offers passage through the connecting wall but is blocked by a rusting iron portcullis."

The product of me sitting at home for a year is 40 map packs and nearly 300 files. It's been fun, but I truly felt like having taken root into the floorboard of my studio. The month finally came when I could get out and wander further than my computer screen and gaming table and thus I could breathe some fresh air, relax, and get inspired. I chose Tenerife, Spain as a destination.
Needless to say, I immediately considered the beach as a battle map, so I went with droning instead of sunb...

This swamp topic and how the maps ended up made me go on with another installment, which is now jam-packed with a lot of goodies: dry patches of land seem to form a pathway through the center of the mire saturated with hazardous gases. I created a north-south, an east-west, and an elbow location for you, plus a clearing with reeds around it.
