A little while back we chatted with Ron, one of our illustrator team, about how Mei Ling would turn into her Huli Jing (Fox Spirit) form, and he was keen to explore an idea he'd initially had for Emily's werewolf transformation, in which her skin would split and tear away, as a nod to the classic scene from the British 1984 gothic horror movie "The Company of Wolves".
