I Decided to revive this character. She was one of two fraternal egg twins borne from Alaric and Ezrael. I liked the twins so much I doodled Calypso a few times. I’m giving her brother to Chibi (she gets all of my drakes I swear rofl) but Calypso is actually a design I treasure so I’ll be keeping and using her.

New concept

A type of cave drake unrelated to the existing abyss or veil drakes that lived in the underground of Emain. They haven’t been properly named yet, most likely it will be something Greek though to fit with the rest of Emain lore

quick & dirty basic shading tutorial

sharing this because I went n made it to help a friend a few days ago and felt it would actually be really helpful to some people who may struggle with using colored shading methods (a lot of people, ((myself included)) tend to use more grey colors for lineart and shading, but the more color you add, the more life you add. it doesn't have to be by any means "super saturated acid trip hell" but real life is full of color.

Rough story:

It had been some cycles since Raine had met Aidoneus; Hades having introduced them, and then becoming near-instant friends despite the female drakes standoffish nature.

So, when Aidoneus started to see her in a different light, she didn't notice. For many orbital cycles, Raine was near-inseparable from Aidoneus. They took missions together, hung out in their off time, ate together, commed each other, and were as close of friends as two drakes could be.
