idk how many hours it's been. since uhhhh 9 or 10pm ive been going at it so I guess 7 or 8 hours.

hope you guys are liking it so far. i'm killing myself here.

also working left to right as left = background

ignore the overlap of moira[left back gal],  and anywhere else you may see it. it's intentional/part of the process. I separated most of the pic onto diff layers according to position in regards to fg, mg and bg elements. it's taken WAY longer than just inking the whole pic on 1 layer, but it will make the flat colors ONE BILLION times faster.

i still have additional things to add like buoys and nets and tons of 'product' in the various crates but it's coming along

She stripped down from her wet clothes, tossed them over a stick she pried up with some loose rocks from the hole in the roof and adjusted the tarp she'd dragged up there to create a small overhang above her head in case it rained.

I chose my favorite animal for it. it's antarctic animals so I chose orcas ofc, theyre my top fav aquatic creature, followed ofc by manta rays, sharks, and everything else in the ocean after XD

I wanted a new icon and the one I did of Aziel was just a sketch, so I did one a bit more clean of Ez. idk what it is with personal icons but it's impossible for me to put effort into them. this one included. I'm more than happy to paint her face when it's attached to the rest of her body, but icons I also go simplistic with the shading. maybe it's an old habit because icons usually are 100px and that doesnt resize worth a fuck if you have too many details. :S

I wanted this piece to be able to have a great perspective so I modeled some of it in a poser program I bought yrs ago and it took the ENTIRE day because creating the 'shape' of a motorcycle without any ability to actually sculpt is laughably hard. because ...

help me pick a cool combat fighty swoosh swoosh pose

the angle is very likely to be different,  but the general poses are sketched to get a feel of the pose itself. I may pick a top down, low, middle, from behind or whatever for the actual picture angle.

something I know back in the days when I was on FA I mentioned and also between private chats with drake owners but wanted to reconfirm that all drakes are capable of training themselves to echolocate using their claws. most do not have the skill, but all CAN learn it if they make the effort.

it's similar in effort as a woman flexing her pec muscles, or someone who has learned to wiggle their ears. it takes time/effort but pretty much anyone can do it.
