sidenote: painting a gold river made me wanna die lmao

I really hope it actually comes across as LIQUID GOLD. the metal is actually an alloy of gold hence why it's liquid. the planet itself produces shittons of this metal and drakes LOVE using it in trinkets, clothing, jewelry, etc

I havent named him[?] yet. I wanted a unisex name because the sanctuary/rehab/shelter I adopted him from was "pretty sure" he's a boy but he's never been bred so there's no confirmation and he's a very young bird, still had baby pinfeathers on his head that I've been helping him open.

He finally WILLINGLY let me pet him today on his head, ears, cheeks, neck and back. as an adopted bird he will take some work to become my buddy but I'm absolutely in love with the little fella ...

drakecember but NOT. I could not resist the urge to draw a fluffy pigeon gal. I love pigeons. they're greatly misunderstood creatures which carry no more disease than any other bird on earth, and are actually extremely clean and prefer to bathe more often than most humans.

so here's a "lucerne" gold neck pigeon which are a morph/breed in the family of the original pigeon, the rock pigeon.
