I'm sorry for the!! quiet!! I've been pretty ill for the past 2 or 3 weeks;; Here are some stuff I managed to get done outside of Cut Time pages!!

I updated the Discord with 5 new CT pages for those interested LOL... I'm trying to keep a healthy buffer because I am not so healthy myself @_@ Hopefully I can keep up this pace. It's easier for me to do 5 pages per month, rather than one page a week, which might not make a lot of sense since it's about the same number LOL.

Hello! Sorry for being so quiet. I've been managing a lot of health stuff but also!! I've been able to return to my bs for Cut Time pages, meaning... I have like 6-8 pages going on at once, as you can see, none of which are completely finished LOL...

I decided to include the zelda illustration (albeit resized) because it was the first nice illustration I've done in a while. T_T December was a bit difficult for me, but I hope to finish some of the illustrations I've started, this month.

Desert costumes

Here are some more character design sketches. I initially had different designs for them, from a year ago, but they felt so haphazard and uninspired that it was a struggle to draw them. To be honest, they were holding up the process of the actual comic a lot to the point where I had my backgrounds painted first, and that doesn't ever happen LOL. I had to bite the bullet and make a detour so that drawing my own comic wasn't such a drag. A reminder to myself that I can never get away from colour and fun shapes!!

PS: my bf said Rel is a "sandwitch"

Hello!! I'm super sorry for the delay... I've been ill in recent weeks. I'll be sending out the rewards tomorrow! For now please have some Bernard in a hanbok suit and gloves hehe. 

I don't post Cut Time pages here (only on Discord) but I have no idea how much of this painting will be covered up when I'm done with it. Please also have some sexy sand as I become acquainted with how to paint it for many pages to come LOL

secret project

Some of you might be savvy to the fact that I used to be a zelda junkie and made friends with a lot of korean and japanese zelda artists some time ago... There is a Korean anthology group I often get invited to and I am participating in the upcoming collection for next year, which will be the 35th anniversary. 

To be honest, I had no idea what to draw or what would make me want me to work on it so this is what I defaulted to... LMAO why is my default so?????? I regret drawing violins EVERY TIME but I keep going back to draw more. u__u BOTW link is one of the few links without a musical instrument, though, so I thought it would be nice? I can easily see him playing something like this ;-;

Anyway!! I will be sending out rewards hopefully soon!! Unfortunately, I can't include this one, since it's under NDA and also for a third party project. this is just a sneak peek post. I hope everyone is staying safe.

I've been wanting to draw this pose on him for a long time... I would always see him bathed in ambient but strong golden light? Felt like a warm sunset.

And the second one is a little doodle between my friends and myself hehe... It's Jaime with little nurses Kazu (from Devil's Candy) and Bonnie (from Lilith's Word).

Character design (maybe spoilers lol)

I blotted out the more specific spoilers but this is a character design I ended up doing for one of the CT characters... (she might look familiar hehe). I don't usually go full out character sheet for them even though the main characters often change outfits, but this one was important (and fun lol).

I love doing costume design!! It's one of my strengths IMO!

"Beyond the Veil"

So... I just sent off the pitch for this oneshot short to Netflix Canada and I have no idea they'll even be interested, but at least I have some stuff to show you guys!!

I actually found a bunch of unfinished comic pages in my sketchbook for this short story, from early 2016... like wow, it's been over 4 years since I started putting this down. The designs were quite outdated so I sketched over a few of them real quick.

Here is the final synopsis for the pitch: 

A witch is someone who is typically born with the ability to summon and interact with the powers and entities of the spiritual plane, one which exists superimposed to the mundane world. Jaime wasn't born with this intuitive talent, but instead develops this ability after an odd dream. She starts feeling things, "seeing" flashes of scenes and creatures from the Other realm -- a realm that she can barely perceive. But the trouble is less that she can barely navigate this side of the veil, and more that she is defenseless against its otherworldly residents... who all seem to want a piece of her. Even with guidance she finds along the way, her magic seems feeble at best. She is soon blessed with one hazardous encounter with a vampire, who attempts to violently possess her. But where she should have responded in fear and anger, Jaime asks her assailant in earnest curiosity, who he is. Taken aback, the demon finds himself wanting to know who she is too.

This is the beginning of Jaime's story about uncovering the healing nature of her soul, her magic, and her calling to heal a world scarred by abuses of power.

"Beyond the Veil" is more of a chapter title -- the working title I used for the pitch was "A Witch's Light." Basically, I wasn't comfortable pitching AWC in its entirety, so I offered up how the story begins so they might consider it for a standalone animated film. I think it's a cute little open-ended story, so... if anything comes of it, I think it would be very cool! I am not expecting much, though. I've never pitched anything to anyone before LMAO. Also, I don't talk too much about the actual plot/story of AWC outside of my Discord server so I think this is a nice treat for everyone here either way. :3

AWC oneshot

So like... I was told that netflix canada was accepting pitches kinda last-minute so I wanted to put something together;; I don't think many people know, but AWC was supposed to be a oneshot comic about Jaime's meeting with a demon (vampire). Then new characters appeared in my dreams and it eventually spiralled out of control o(-< I don't think anything will come of the pitch tbh, but I just wanted to see what happens. No harm in trying!

I'm not pitching Teo but he is there for size relation and moral support. These aren't images that are going to be included in the July package, I just wanted to show you guys a little bit of what used to be, and revisions I made. :3
