The first one is something silly for @princecanary's kickstarter LOL... he's making an artbook!! I'm very excited for my friend. The second one channels my younger days and the third is Toph from Avatar!! I'd been wanting to draw her for a while. art cravings

I've been pretty depressed and ill for the entire past month, tbh so I've just been... slowly picking away at old wips that have been collecting dust in my folders. I hope that's okay! It's really hard for me to draw anything when I'm emotionally compromised, unfortunately ; ;

Charleston dance (in colour)

Photoshop CS6 has been crashing a whole lot randomly in the past month... I think it might be a tablet driver problem, cos it hasn't been like this with my Cintiq, just my Huion. It's slowed me down quite a bit, like... working with crash anxiety and also having to redo lost work;; Not the best motivator, but I'm trying to figure it out...

ANYWAY here is a reward for the coming month. I still have to touch it up a bit but here is the gist of it!

Edelweiss

This is a portrait of my friend's OC, Edelweiss. I just kinda adopted her into Jaime's universe, but not sure how often we'll see of her. I just wanted to paint her because she's so elegant. Stolid, but kind. I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.

Hello!! I'm sorry it took me so long... I actually wanted to finish a new CT page to include but that didn't happen fast enough... It's just been really rough. Thank you for your patience.

It was also brought to my attention that I don't... really advertise my Discord access as I should... LOL... Even if you don't participate in the server chats, I have all these custom emotes I've built up over the years, so... if you're a Nitro user it's a nice perk, IMO. Some of these were made/edited as a result of suggestions from my patrons in chat. I'm very lucky to be surrounded by such sweet and funny people ;-;

Circles

Little Yzra likes to draw. He has a little box of crayons, given to him by his keeper. His sketchbook is filled with crayon drawings of...??? circles for some reason?? Just pages and pages of nothing but thicc, perfect circles of varying colours and sizes.

Jaime eventually comes to the conclusion that the little angel has been drawing fanart of "God." And so they draw their own circle together, by linking hands and doing a little dance

Sorry for the quiet... I fell ill for about two weeks and I'm slowly recovering haha;

Thank you guys for the responses on my latest poll and discussion about our tentative plan to move away from patreon. I saw that Ko-fi was the most desirable choice and there was some discomfort about Subscribestar so I've actually been getting help and looking into more options around Ko-Fi.

The thing about Ko-Fi is that it's extremely rudimentary in what it offers as a subscription platform; there is no tier system even, although they say it's something in development for the future. I'd still like to be able to offer Discord and tiered rewards on my new platform so for the past couple of weeks I've been in contact with Ko-Fi, along with some smart friends who are programming a Discord bot to streamline things a bit for me. Depending on whether or not Ko-Fi can provide what we need in terms of API, this move may or may not happen. I'll keep everyone updated!

ANYWAY, I'm hoping for the best! In the meantime we finally... finalized design updates to our Cut Time website... cries... Also if my health allows for it, I'm going to have some new pages ready in June??? ?????? I'm looking forward to it. Thank you for your patience, and I hope everyone is well during these trying times. ;-;

Which platform?

Sorry for all the polls... I'm trying to see what works best for everyone. I myself would prefer a ko-fi page, but it would mean I have to send out discord invites manually for those who want them. Before I make the move I want to be sure which truly is the best option.  Feedback is much appreciated!! 

(Ko-Fi is the one that doesn't take any cuts from me, only a base monthly fee... but tier options seem to be limited)

Old dances and health

On a brighter note, my health has been slowly but surely been on the incline!! It's still far from perfect but I've been able to draw so so much more in the past month... I haven't been this "well" since... probably last October. T_T

I've been revisiting old dancing drawings to splash some colour on them since I want to work on this book too... I have many art/sketch books in progress LOL I PROMISE THEY ARE GETTING MADE FOR SURE.

I've also been able to start working on Cut Time again... thank god... It's literally been a year... o(-< Thank you for sticking by me through it all ; ;

Moving

I'm working on moving completely out of Patreon, to a platform called SubscribeStar. It's the only alternative with Discord integration just like Patreon has (I already installed the bot lol), which is largely why I hadn't moved. The only downside to it is that it doesn't accept Paypal (or stripe) payments.

I did some research into it and apparently the platform had a really dumb start -- it advertised itself as a "pro-free speech" platform so it attracted a lot of hate groups... which is why PP severed ties with it. Since then, they did a rehaul in their ToS, rebranded themselves as a creative platform, and they seem to be actually screening each individual creator applicant to prevent that from happening again.

The move will be fairly smooth -- I have the option to hold off charges until the 1st of the month so no current patrons would be double charged, and we won't have to worry about refunds. The only difference is the lack of Paypal as a payment option.

Patreon has been treating its creators like we're their employees, and its patrons even more poorly, and I've just about had enough. I just wanted to gauge if anyone had issues about this move, after full disclosure. Thank you kindly for reading all of this @_@;;

Edit: I forgot to mention that the April rewards will go out via Patreon/Discord before the move. So please don't worry about that!

Hello! I will try to update a little more often here... I am kind of spoiled by Discord cos I just... drop off images there as soon as I have something hahah!! 

This is a poem I wrote, sort of in frustration... I've had a longstanding pattern of, I dunno... people refusing to see what's in front of them. For once it's something I wrote then drew, not in the other order. 

Oh and the picture called "calm" on the previous post should be mobile-friendly if anyone would like to use it as a wallpaper.
