Star Wars What If? Promo

Told in a storybook format, with some comic elements, in the style of The Clone Wars. This What If? is an alternate history retelling of the prequel trilogy, dramatically altered thanks to one key event. 

The story will use elements from the expanded universe canon, particularly The Clone Wars, but it won’t be necessary to have seen that to understand. I’ll attempt to release it all in one go, and should be finished within a month or two, with occasional updates to its progress...

The Emporium - The Minx and The Journo

Send in the clones! At least that's what the boss thinks, and they're just as nutty as I am. A return of Izzy the first Emporium denizen, and another fiery redhead who can tango as the 13th Doctor like no one can. 

Since Ms. Feel Your Bits played a certain pink skinned character in Guardians of the Galaxy, that's why she's lit in pink, in this and the last, in case no one noticed.

Ever the dedicated teacher, seems Ms. Bennet was in a bit of a rush to get to work that morning and didn't have time to pull on much more than a very sheer dress. I've been busy tonight for the first time properly since the Shaak Ti work, so hopefully that continues on to tomorrow and we get a bunch more pictures.

So Many Star Wars Stories, You Need To Decide!

I'm overwhelmed with all these stories I have planned for so long, it gets overwhelming trying to figure out which one I do first. So, rather than make a decision, I'm letting you my wonderful patrons decide for me! Which do I do first?

First Order Styled Phase 2 Clone Trooper

Smooth the boy down. Add some grooves. Smear him in carbon scoring. Plastic and modern like a new phone. Although if it truly followed that design style he’s probably be rose gold or mint green or something. Rose gold is probably too 2018.

Tala - Edit and Clothed Version

Went back and did some edits to her body, the problem with drawing from references, trying to be realistic, is sometimes those realistic elements don't translate well to art. I like how the shape of thighs change when people sit, how they sort of squish out, but exaggerating that effect in art, without the definition to further sell that, it can look a bit odd. So I slimmed her thigh, and drew on some clothing. That's the SFW edit I guess.

Captain Marvel's and Canary's Shiny Pants, and More

I finished off the piece I previewed yesterday with more detail, and did a few more quick sketches testing the shiny style. Canary's black shiny pants were heavily inspired by a dress her performer wore at the Birds of Prey premiere, the different panels of the pants and the reflection of what might be a red carpet set it apart from the rest.

Last Christmas' Kate - Revamped

Slight mistake with last month's Last Christmas request saw this post get drawn in a lower quality than intended, and this last month has just flown but here we go. I accidentally made it harder on myself as I had merged the colour layers into one so it was a tedious process isolating the skin from the clothing and the hair, but I got there in the end.

For July, requests/commissions will go on hold to the end of the month.

"X Gon' Give It To Ya" might be a good title for this one, unless anyone can think of something better.

Started this one what feels like a long time ago, maybe only the beginning of May, but lots has happened. So...much.

Tossed a bunch of fancy effects in this for the background, think it works quite well without feeling too gimmicky. Even got some motion blur.

The Emporium - Violet

Decided to colour a sketch I did last year, it's always those project that seem they should be quick that take a while.

In the upper suites, the start of shift for new arrival Violet, whatever is planned is sure to be Marvellous. Perhaps we'll see her in a part two going from the late afternoon and Journey into Blue neon lights. I wonder if the suites have a VOD service.
