2023 In Review

Our second day on ExplOregon. We spent the second day shooting at a movie set in the making near Bend, Oregon. Actually the guy that owns the property is building several sets that can be used for film making and shooting still photos. We wandered around for a couple of hours before setting off for the Alford Desert. 2023 In Review

I spent some of the last days in June on the Exploregon adventure tour with Floofie, Her Stillness Dances, and Kaitlyn. The first day was spent at a house belonging to one of the other photographers and we shot until one of the neighbors complained. Go figure. It was a great way to start the 4 days of adventure. You'll see a lot more of these lovely ladies in the next few posts so stay tuned. And as always thank you for supporting my efforts.

Starting off in June now featuring the lovely Naya. Naya lives in Moscow (yes that Moscow) and we shoot remotely. She has access to a number of studios, and her husband assists with the camera, moving it around. He also speaks ebglish a little better than Naya, although we shot this morning and I have to say her english has improved a lot. We've barely made it through the first half of the year. I'll have to go some to get all the way through, but it's a challenge I'll accept.

June had booked up fast for Merrique and I, so we scheduled our regularly monthly shoot on the last day of May. Merrique was preparing for her wedding and had bleached her hair blonde for the event. She was moaning the whole time that she had gone a little overboard and had ruined her hair. It has since come back. Kicking off May with Marie and Raven. I have shot with Marie quite a bit and this was my first shoot with Raven. Last, but not least, to conclude April of last year are two of my favorite people, Floofie and Merrique. It just so happens they are the best of friends as well. We set up a remote shoot in an AirBnB Floofie booked near the coast in Oregon and spent an hour shooting remotely. It was a lot of fun but not nearly long enough. The last series from the Venus of the Valley Tour. We spent the last day of the tour at Villa Anita in Tecopah. The Villa is an Air BnB and is an eclectic stop (to say the least). If you ever get to Death Valley and want to stay in the most unique AirBnB in the vicinity, hit Carlos and Mike up. You can get lost in the place and Carlos is a wonderful chef. Still more from April of last year. Vivian and V started the Venus tours in 2022. It is a multi-day photoshoot with three models and six photographers. I highly recommend it, if you can afford the time. I've been on three now. You have to be careful of which one you choose, because a few of them are really tough physically. Day 2 of our Venuses of the Valley Tour in Death Valley National Park. We spent most of this morning hiking Golden Canyon hiking from Zabriskie Point to the entrance to the canyon. People lined up at Zabriskie Point could see what was going on but the models didn't seem to mind, nor did the tourists visiting the park. V, Vivian, and Kate posed at various points along the trail.
