A quick shoot yesterday - these were edited by Aurora, shot by me. I love the edits, but as usual I'll get around to doing B&W versions soon.

BUSHFIRE NUDES - ANNE DUFFY

I used to shoot with Anne a lot. She's a truly great Australian-International model and has been around longer than any other touring art model I know of.

This set was shot on the Sydney coastline not far from the city centre. Sydney cannot be beat for coastal locations within easy reach of Sydney, and this is one of them near Henry Head. The banksia scrub had been recently burnt and was perfect for these nude shots.

HOME NUDES on film (higher tiers)

Here are some nudes we did a couple of days ago at home. Shot on some very old DELTA 400 with my Mamiya 7 and the amazing 85mm F4. This tier and above gets  a couple of images the others don't due to the more explicit nature.

I see a lot of art nude around the place but most of it does nothing for me. Subjective I know, just my tastes. So I tried to do this a bit different, with Aurora's help of course. In the end, it's not much different from anything else :), but I do like a coup...

Polish Eyes - updated

This was part of a roll of 120 - Kodak Portra 800, that I shot of Daria last Friday at home. Film NEVER disappoints. From a roll of  10 I nearly always have 5 or so keepers. If I shoot 10 digital shots, I won't have 5 keepers.

DARIA - early edit

This is Daria from last Friday's shoot at home. Both Aurora and I shot her, I only shot one roll of 120 and half a roll of 35mm, so about 30 shots or so.

This was shot with the Pentax and scanned by holding the film up to the light and taking a snap with the Z6. It was shot in the bedroom using my trusty 'Lindbergh light'.

We shot this beautifully intimate floral set yesterday. Quite different to anything I've done before. It's a very intimate set but I believe it is also tasteful and above all, beautiful.  Is it sexual, is it erotic? That's up to the viewer to decide of course but we didn't create it with that in mind, rather to depict beauty and femininity.

Bathroom Workflow Video Preview

This little BTS video was compiled from clips taken while we shot in the bathroom last week. The shoot was roughly around 3am. We had another all-nighter of course - starting at around 9pm and ending about 9am next day although we didn't crash until about 4pm I think.

There was no plan for this set. It was a last minute decision to shoot in the bathroom so I grabbed two lights from the bedroom, we selected a tune (which we always do and it usually stays on loop), and started doing it. T...

The last one is one of my favourite shots from recent times - completely candid. First two shot with one of my Pentax 67's and the last one with a NIkon F100. Film was TRI-X. 

I shoot a lot of this kind of stuff around the house and I think it's my favourite type of work.

The medium format shots here were damaged by the lab in processing. Don't know what they did wrong but there's marks all over the film, might be water marks or something. It took a lot of retouching to remov...

A fun and sexy set we shot a couple of weeks back using my teddy again and some other cute props, some of which came in handy.
