I kinda like his ice form with the blue colors instead of the green-ish, and the new "suit"is so slutty, I love it.

Ngl, I miss the shaggy cut, but this new look rocks.
Wanted to play with the background and her own palette to make the piece look cold and darker than my usual style, felt appropriate after reading the last couple issues of the Fall of X, from which I haven’t recovered yet.

Goodnight!
I love to play with the different levels of rendering betweeen background and characters. For example, the towel only has a layer of darker blue-ish charcoal for texture and sketch lines remarked with brush. Pretty much the same for the wall. For this one I got inspo from Ernest Chiriacka’s work more than anything else, specially a beautiful bathroom mirror piece that y’all should look up.
Right now I’m not completely sure if I’ll post this on other social media...

Did you get your exercises in and drink water today? Thought so.
This was a rollercoaster, I made a couple other of sketches and you can see they’re very advanced! But they didn’t fully convince me so I just scrapped and started again. Loved the final so much tho, once I found the perfect idea it was all smooth and finished in about 4-5 hours, which is crazy even for me tbh.

Blink Pin up commission!
I had a great time with this one. The inspo were vintage postcard-style illustrated pin ups and you know that’s my kind of stuff. I think it’s my first time drawing Blink too, so that’s cool.
Anyway, I’ve been working on the Hawkgirl piece but I scrapped like 3 different ideas by now, I might post them with the final this weekend.

Here’s a WIP of the Babs piece! Im experimenting a little with the lighting to find a very specific mood and I’m liking where its going.
Also a study/practice I made to kinda be prepared for this piece! Interiors are the worst for my adhd, so I avoid that kind of studies, which is why this was necessary and the reason I only made one lmao.

The idea was to have them relaxing after a fight or a night patrolling inspired by the sketchy-watercolor Phil Noto’s works.

A couple of warm ups I made yesterday.
The truth is I'm not a background or enviromental artist so, as you can see, I don't focus too much on details, I just go with the flow, trying to get my eye used to how these shapes and lighting work in the real world so I can play with it. The less you think while you’re doing these the better.

Do you ever do something just to see if you can?
Because that’s me with this piece. Actually loving how it’s going so far, decided to have Tabby and Laura go in a vacation on Europe, you know, to change a little bit the ambience from the last piece.
Also including a little warm up I made to feel a bit more confident when I got to the actual piece. Would you want to see more warm ups like that and speedpaints of them?
