City of Ravenhall! (series) [76X89]

We will start with the building that gave the city its name. Ravenhall manor may seem insignificant, now when the city took over the horizon. But when it was built it housed the first lord Blackwing and his wife. But after the Black Keep was constructed and the family moved there, the manor was gifted to Ar...

Dragon Dungeon [46x80]

There is a theory that dragons were sent to earth to punish man for our sins. The greatest argument in favor of this theory undoubtedly was Farhar The Avatar of Greed. This great beast was much larger and more powerful than the creatures that I classified as ancient dragons. Its greed was allconsuming to the point that it used powerful magic to transform its body into a vault of sorts. Ins...

Raging Fjord [35x60]

If you are looking for something…lets say discouraged in civilized society there is a place you should visit. Locals call it the Raging Fjord. Only the bold or mad ever attempt to navigate it. You look like a good mix of both. After the worst part of the journey you will find a small gathering of likeminded folks. Of course that is if the river won't grind your bones to dust.

Skull Island [60x60]

They call it The Skull Island. How the hell else could they call it? It’s an island that is shaped like a skull. I mean it would be at least misleading to call it a unicorn island or a donut island, wouldn't it? Yes, I have a problem with it. Why? Why is it shaped like that? It couldn't be a naturally occurring thing.
That means some powerful monster or a crazy mage made it this way. For what purpose? To warn people? Please. From a sailor's perspective...

An odd gift bundle for everyone to enjoy!

Hey guys, Maplocks here.

This week we don't have a full pack for you all, sadly — and that is why we decided to add here what we do have, for everyone. We are sure this includes an odd visitor or two, but generally, it's for you, our dear patrons.

So without further ado, meet the Graveyard 2 [46x46] — a sister map to t2022-12-01 17:36:09 +0000 UTC View Post

Mountain Lake Temple [40x40]

I spent ten years training in Lao Hu Wu. I mastered all the techniques of The Tigers Claw. And when the time came for my final exam I was ready to fight and defeat any of my peers and even Master himself. But instead, he took me to the small pond and told me that to become a master I must cross it without touching the water.
Thousands of times tried to jump from one side to the other. But the pond was too wide. Other students were laughing at me and cal...

Wasashi’s Baths [46х44]

Wasashi’s baths are the place to go after a serious battle. The healing properties of water help to save money on potions. And Bato’s chef skills are unmatched. My only gripe is that the place is divided into male and female parts. What gives?! We live in 1496 DR the concept of gender is so outdated! And what about warforged? What about changelings and plasmoids?
Anyway, I paid a guy to show me a secret path to an opening in the wall of the changing ...

Haunted Town [43x85]

It is hard to believe that in a world full of monsters a man can instill such fear. But even now the name Victor Bancroft is spoken only in vispers. You may know him by his grim title - Lord Bloodletter.
No one knows what drove him to madness. Some say it was the death of his wife, others that it was the purity of his bloodline. Nevertheless, he was truly mad. Lord Bancroft thought he was a vampire and collected taxes in blood. Even children were not ex...

The Fairy Ring Rules

So, this is for you guys. It's how you use the Fairy Ring, with descriptions and ... poems, yeah.

We wanted to tell you that the doors (or the mounds, the fairy hills) here in this map are open, and that one should start with the version where they are hidden, then perform the ritual, and thus open the corresponding door.

Have fun, you brilliant people!

We love you.

The Fairy Ring [43x53]

This Fairy Ring is a nexus point from which you can travel to different planes and places. If your players decipher poems written on the portal gateways they can open it and travel to corresponding place.

Each tier will have access to the open and closed doors near the Ring, as well as the DM's guide for this map — we'll post it a bit later today.

So have fun with it — and we hope that you'll like the new mechanics of this one.

Alchemist's Shop [25x64, 1 floor — 25x16]

Welcome to Aleister’s books and potions! You may ask yourself why should I buy my magical supplies here? Answer is easy - we are the best! In our potions we use only herbs grown in our gardens, spirits from the local brewery and monster parts procured by town’s adventurers guild. So by buying from us you invest in our town bright future.
You don’t care about the future, you handsome bullywug? How about the past? All the spell books and tomes of for...

Shadewood II — Matriarch’s quarters [40x65]

“As we move up to the treetops, there it lies — the Matriarch Lodgings. Past the blossom-shaped chamber, we enter the Tree Hall. There’s a vine-covered library to the left, and a small Ravana's chapel to the right, and then the Council Room, and a dormitory for the on the opposite side.
A birthing pool is right next to the throne, and there’s Queen’s bedchamber on the other side.
The High Halls are filled with most wondr...

The Dark Circus [30x33]

Hey you! Yes, you! Imagine the most incredible show!
Now add danger, add lots and lots of danger. Mix in some wild creatures and a pinch of magic. And… Oh, you poor thing, is that all your pitiful brain can master? No, no, no that is not even close to what we got in The Red Circus.
Try again but bigger. I said Bigger! Yes! With more fire! More tigers! More saws and clumsy harlequins. And maybe a death or f...

The Forest Hut [20x20]

“They call me a witch, some even a hag. A hag! Look at me, do I look like a hag? That is exactly my point. I am a wizard. Just because I don't have a beard or a wand in my robes doesn't make me a witch.
Yes, I live in the woods in a small hut. So what of it? I hate stares. Do you know how much climbing you must do to get somewhere in those damn towers? And yes I do have a black cat. But only because all my clothes are black. White fur would be impossib...

The Pumpkin Valley [15x29]

“Let’s be clear - outside is a very dangerous place. But there are places more dangerous then others. Never and I do mean never go to the pumpkin patch.
Yes, the pumpkins are delicious. But the creature that grows them is one of the scariest thing there are. Will you die? Only if you are lucky. “

Celestial Gardens [32x32]

“They called me “Unstoppable”. It didn't matter what they threw in front of me. If it bleed i cut it, if it breathed I strangled it and if it saw I made sure I was the last thing. I knew they would never let me go, I was too damn entertaining for the crowd.
I made them think I have gone mad. Mumbling to myself and snarling like a beast. But I was watching and waiting. Until I saw him.
They caught a celestial. I immediately ...

The Lost Goddess

“This is a place of silent worship. I bow before the dead gods whose names are lost to time.
Forgotten even by creatures that they themself created. If even the highest beings can perish in oblivion then what of me? If this silver thread is to be cut, who will remember me, who will shed a tear, who will sing a song in my name? The gods are silent.
Now I know that Time is the true monster. It fears no blade nor magic, but all fea...

The Lich Dungeon [23x38]

Liches are the most vile creatures. Mages who in their quest for power defile the very laws of nature and divine. They must be destroyed by any means necessary.
But in our crusade for justice and purity sometimes we must make fringe decisions and hard choices. One such example was presented to me by The Keeper.
In my hunt for The Bellgust Reaper I found myself in an ancient underground grove. My senses were overwhelmed by the aura of un...

Rocky Road [30x60]

Our assassins couldn’t kill the General Kaugen outright. However injuries that he suffered prevented him from leading his troops. Without him they devolved back to their savage tactics. Our cavalry easily outmaneuvered their flanks. And after that it was only matter of time until their moral broke.
I must report that we weren’t able to capture the general himself. He and his closest allies fled the battlefield and retrieved to the mountains. But our...

The Graveyard Shift [47x47]

We must act swiftly. Send two dozen Crimson Cloaks to the garden. Only ashes m...

What would you like in August?

An Army camp

“It was highly unexpected that the northern tribes would unite under one banner. Even less so that it will belong to a tactical genius. Army after army, town after town, they all got destroyed. We have no other choice but to cut the snakes head. General Kaugen must die tonight or we are all doomed.”
