We are now just home from the UK's biggest naturist event - the annual Nudefest! Six days of camping in Somerset with over 600 other genuine naturists, with live bands, circus, fitness classes, chill out zones and late night silent discos! Photoset to follow later (when we've been through all the pictures!), but here is a video from when we first arrived and set up our tent. We don't camp - we glamp!

The Sega Mega Drive (Genesis) version of a classic! Ms Pac Man was released in the arcade in 1982 as the sequel to the original Pac Man, and to be honest it isn't that much different. Well apart from the ghost Clyde who is now Sue... It's a fun adaption but it isn't completely controllable on the mushy Mega Drive gamepads - well that's our excuse and we're sticking to it!

An amateur filmmaker asked if he could practice his documentary making on us. He visited in March and filmed us doing a few things. Here is his edit of Helen giving Simon a haircut, a practice started during the first Covid lockdown here in the UK and continued since as she's actually pretty good at it!

Another classic - Super Hang-On. A fairly simple racer, made popular in the arcade for its full size motorbike-style cabinet. The Sega Mega Drive version is neat as its a simple idea of a game that you can just pick up for a bit and play. Why can't more modern games be like this? Not that we've ever witnessed anyone get very far with it, mind!

'Telly Addicts' was a TV game show that ran in the UK through most of the 80s and 90s and was essential light entertainment viewing. I believe a French version was also made but I don't think it made it across the pond. Anyway, we got a PlayStation 2 copy of the game that tried to bring the TV show to home consoles. It didn't receive great reviews at the time, but now its a great bit of retro trivia fun!

In the garage we have an Atari 2600. One day I'll find it again! Fortunately almost every major system to be released since the 8-bit era seems to have had Atari classic games compliations released for it. So here we are with the Playstation one, trying our hand at late 90s remakes of late 70s games! Its fun, but not quite the same as the real thing...

Finding original Sony Playstation games at reasonable prices is becoming harder as retro collecting becomes more popular. So if I find one that looks like it will work (some are scratched beyond rescue) I pick it regardless. This is one such game, and we had no ideas or preconceptions about it before putting the disc in. And, to be fair, we're still not really any the wiser!

Daily tasks are so much more tolerable done in the nude. Its a lot cooler for one, as you can work up a sweat doing the housework, even in winter. Its practical, as there's not flapping sleaves, skirts, or belt loops to get caught on anything. Plus its easy to clean yourself afterwards too. No need for changing into special clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. You just have a quick body shower which, without dressing afterwards, is also a lot easier to do. Whenever we need to stay away overnight, we try to ensure we can do so at a naturist venue. As you know by now, Max's Garden in Sussex is one of our favourites. So when we needed to go to Worthing for the evening, a stay over at Max's seemed almost mandatory! The sun the following day made a few appearances, and the pool still a little cool (its solar heated) but the sauna was lovely!

Living life naked is so much more pleasurable and practical, but is not without its hazards. Sunburn being one of them. We had a events meeting at a naturist venue, and took the opportunity to lay out in the sun whilst there. As it was for a meeting, we didn't think to bring any sunblock with us. Simon is a little pink, but nothing too bad as he doesn't have fair skin. Helen, on the other hand, got some interesting tanlines that only a naturist sitting in the sun could get...

The game that started a phenomenon and one of the best selling games in the UK in 1993 - the original FIFA soccer game on the Segs Mega Drive (Genesis). Given that we didn't have the instruction book, or much of a clue about what we were doing, I think it turned out to be a pretty good match! We'll play it again - once we get hold of a copy of the rules...

First Saturday in May is World Naked Gardening Day. We always garden naked anyway, but are happy to support anything that may encourage others to experience the pleasure of being nude in nature.

A friend of ours is establishing an events company that specialises in organising nude events in typlically non-nude places. So far we've been to a pub near Guildford for a beer and pizza night, and to a tea rooms and gin bar in Horsham for a cheese, wine and cocktails evening. We're impressed with what he's achieved so far and are definately going to more over the coming weeks and months.
