I suffered through the intense California heatwave to drive to LA and shoot with Kaylee Killion again at the Arsenic House! The Hollywood Hills was unbearably hot, and with the humidity, the temperature was well over 100 degrees. Still, the heat only added to the intensity of the shoot. This series was taken during Christmas of last year when a dear photographer friend of mine was visiting from Switzerland. She had just lost her husband and was going through a tough time, and we organized and shot with Erika at the beach one day to distract ourselves from the emotional time.
