Groupie Love

Beautiful Margot phtographed by me in Loftstudio 14c in Neuss. I really love this white room they have over there. Perfect place for Margot in her groupie style.

Unfortunately my 70-200 autofocus broke on this shoot and I didn't realize it. All pictures which I took with one of the center autofocus points were completely out of focus. And this was quite a lot. Luckily we had enough good ones left for this set :)

And Tamron fixed it right away. Now it focuses on point again. View Post

You can leave your head on

I have to admit, I'm addicted to beautiful faces. Much more than perfect bodies. And I love to combine portraits and nudes.

One of the most outstanding faces I photographed this year was Maya. She's an amazing beauty from the south of France, now living in Paris - Working as model and going to acting school.

Thanks to Manfred for bringing the head. I love that look on her. Fits just perfect.

Sporty Spice

Here we go, two more pics of beautiful Nici.

Both shot with the Canon 5DIII. Even though I like the skin colors of the cam, the highlights turn out to yellow after my retouching workflow. So I modified my luminosity masks with a black and white conversion to fix it.

Video quick tip following soon ;)

Me and my trouser

I really love my Factory Loft in spring and autumn, because the light in there can be amazing. Depending on the weather of course ;)

And we had awesome weather when I photographed Nici about 1,5 weeks ago, so we could shoot so much cool stuff. First set is this classic B/W portraits, mostly shot with frontal light.

I'll prepare a light composition breakdown for the coaching channel, so you'll be able to understand the light setup much better :)

Enjoy!

Coat & Tie

A set I photographed earlier this year with lovely Irina. Right before all the madness about lockdown and travel restrictions started.

Irina has a great presence in front of the cam, so I wanted to shoot a "pure" set. That's why I organised the tie and asked my wife to bring her coat. Enough for a girl like her, because she did an amazing job in front of the camera :)

Blossoms & Stripes

Beginning of October I wanted to organize 2 workshops with a Ukrainian model. Unfortunately she's still not able to travel to Europe due to travel restrictions, caused by Corona pandemic.

Luckily, beautiful Lola contacted me about 2 weeks ago and asked for a shoot. I saw that she worked with amazing photographers like David Bellemere, Stefan Rappo, Matthieu Sonnet and others. I really like when models have a good taste in choosing photographers, because it shows her interest in good pic...

Alors en danse

Fun shoot with beautiful Carlotta Adacher last week.

Carlotta was my workshop model the weekend before and we decided to shoot a bit on Monday. The studio we worked in had this cool white space and I brought this white/transparent jacket for her because I thought it'll match perfectly.

During the shoot we listened to a latin dance playlist and Carlotta felt the vibes of the music and danced always between the poses. You can really feel that energy in her posing :)

Margot

Here are some more images of my test shoot with beautiful Margot and the 5DIII.

It was a real fun shoot with Margot. She's an amazing model and made it really easy for me to test the equipment while shooing some real cool stuff :)

Concerning the 5DIII pictures - The workflow is quite different at some steps during editing. It took me a little while to figure out which steps of my workflow work good and which don't. I need to get some more experience, but I will keep you updated ...

Casual provocateur

This is an older set that I photographed with Anetta during a test shoot in Prague. Anetta is a very lovely person but also has aquite provocative personality (in a positive way). This lead me to try a bit more provocative pictures than I usally shoot.

Never had the courrage though, to show the whole set, because I was afraid of getting banned right away. But as this is a trusted community and I believe that this is in the Patreon guidelines, I'd like to show it to you guys :)&nbs...

In my shoes

Finally I can show you the set with Heidi that I took a few weeks ago. Event though I didn't have to retouch much on this set because I love the raw look, I also didn't have any time at all to care about it, because during last 2-3 weeks I used every free minute to write a for a book about nude photography which will be published in October.

It's really like Murphys law. Whenever I plan a shoot, most of the time I have shitty weather or strongly changing weather conditions. Last thing h...

Old town road

It's probably one of my favorite places for outdoor shoots: The old town of Vejer de la Frontera.

This set I photographed with beautiful Alessandra Sironi during our test last year.

It's really a pity, that I can edit some of my pictures only after such a long time. But ok, that's the way it is. Still I enjoy and I hope you do as well :)

Bella Donna

The one and only Viktoria again. Captured in Sicily on our second event last year. One of our participants couldn't come as he catched a bad cold, so Monika or I jumped in to complete the team.

Was big fun :)

Rain

I took these pictures on our last photo event in Sicily. Suddenly a thunderstorm came up, but it took only a few minutes. Two guys were trying to shoot Viktoria in the rain but somehow it didn't really look good.

I remembered a similar situation from a photo event in Thailand. While we were having a break I took a thai massage on the beach with some others. Suddenly a huge monsoon came down and while I was enjoying my massage, one of the photographers took the best picture of the trip...

The shelf

When we build our studio, I didn't imagine, how many models want to take pictures on our self-made shelf. Some of the pictures I didn't event publish, because I have to many of them, but in this case, I like the set with Erika alias Ka.Leesi very much. So I like to show you too :)

Classic look

Propably one of the easiest ways, to shoot a classic portrait: Frontal, natural light, black trousers, black or white top, switch to monochrome and open the aperture.

And important, separate your model from the background, bring her closer to the light.

Easy, but good :)

Memories

Always a pleasure to work with Rebecca.

Such a pitty that we can't meet this year in Sicily due to current postponing of our events. This year is really turning out to be complicated.

But at least these pictures bring back some good memories :)

Blinded pleasure

Finally I could edit the set with Heidi and Nici, which I photographed during a coaching with Rob.

Girl-Girl shoots are always very challenging. First of all it's difficult to light both models equally good. After that, it's important to create some authentic interaction. As this is quite an erotic scene, it's not easy for the girls as well, not even for professional and experienced models.

A problem which I discovered in another girl-girl coaching is, that photographers try to ...

Khaolak rising

A set which I photographed quite a while ago, but never finished so far. Now I finally found the time for it :)

I photographed this set with Sophia end of 2017 in Khaolak Thailand. We organised a photo event there and on one morning, while driving to a beach to shoot I saw this field and how the sun was rising behind the palm trees and the hills. So I asked Sophia to join to shoot with me on her free day in the morning.

It's my favorite set from Thailand. Quite interesting after...

Time-out

Time-out hits it very well. It stands for a break and some quality time, but also in this case it stands for the fact, that I was running out of time ;)

These are the last pictures which I took with Katti during our shoot in Moscow. Initially we didn't plan to head for some nudes, but as she seemed to like the pictures, we took some nudes at the end of our shoot. The problem, there were only a few minutes left, so it didn't really became an editorial. Still I'd like to share these...

Beauty set free

My first little set from this year. Beautiful Erika photographed in Loft Studio Cologne - Factory Loft.

We took these pictures in November during really shitty weather conditions. So we stayed quite close to the windows. I have to say, slowly I start to understand the available light photographers who take a break during winter time :)

Anyways, even though the shooting conditions were quite difficult, I'm very pleased with the results.

Muse

For sure one of the most inspiring shoots at our photo event in Moscow back in 2018. Even though Arina wasn't good in English, she clearly understood what I wanted from her after I showed her my moods.

My inspiration back then was Stefan Rappo with his incredibly moody style.

Enjoy :)

Feel free and relax

Here are the first images from my testshoot with beautiful Nicole Ross.

We took these pictures during the worst light conditions this year. It was rainy, cloudy and dizzy. So just super dark. Still I managed to keep the ISO at max 400 by shooting very calm and using the Tamron 85mm with image stabilisation on the D810.

Enjoy the first pictures... More will follow soon ;)

Before I publish the second part tomorrow, I'd like to show you my latest editorial with amazing Anastasia Scheglova which we currently published in Yumemag.

We shot this set during one of our free days of last years photo event in Tarifa 2018. My moods for this set were taken from Sante D'orazio's book "A private view". You'll probably remember the book advice whi...

Angels

Finally I can show you the complete set of Cledia which I photographed with her in September.

This is acually, what I call a set instead of an editorial. Good example to show before I publish my tutorial on sets and editorials :)

Btw, this set is inspired by Russel James' book Angels. If you like this kind of photography, I'll post the next book advice about it. Even though, it seems to be sold out in Europe.
