A bright-eyed Vault Dweller and a traveling trader woman are speaking on the side of the road on a quiet, breezy afternoon in the wastes.
"Those big, mean-lookin' raider fellas out in the wasteland aren't always bad guys, you know! Sure, most of 'em don't know the first thing about being a swell neighbor 'cause they didn't get to grow up in the Vaults or the NCR. And yeah, a lot of them could sure use a nice, long bath. But some of them can be really sweet when you get to know them! I met one not too far off from the Long 15 a couple months back. We had a long chit-chat and he let me spend the night in his house when I mentioned I was running low on supplies. Surprisingly cozy little place and a pretty comfy bed, actually. The next morning, he insisted I have some of his food and water, told me the safest route east, and didn't ask for a single thing in return. Can you believe that?! Really makes you wonder why we can't all get along out here...
...Anywho, do you have anything to help with nausea? There's something in the air out here that's been making me feel kinda queasy. Or, uh, a lot queasy?"

For hundreds of years before the Kingdom of Corona even came to exist, Gothel hoarded the Sundrop Flower and abused its healing powers in order to live a prolonged and decadent life. She enjoyed all sorts of earthly pleasures, not the least of which was the nightly company of beautiful women and strapping men whom she "permitted" to enjoy her magically preserved body in exchange for helping her satisfy what was an infamously insatiable lust. Though very few of these affairs ever lasted longer than an evening: Gothel had high standards and a serious disdain for commitment. All these years later, I'm still so sad that we were robbed of Milana Vayntrub playing live-action Squirrel Girl because she's absolutely adorable and just perfect for the role. At least she gets to voice her nowadays!
But would you believe that I haven't played Marvel Rivals at all yet? Despite being a superhero comics lover and the game bringing some Marvel characters that I really enjoy like Psylocke, the Fantastic Four, Magik, Cloak & Dagger, etc. back to the forefront of people's minds with some pretty nice (and even sexy) new designs. I've had it installed since launch but still haven't done anything more than launch it like once lol. I think Overwatch burned me out so badly on the hero shooter genre that I have some kind of PTSD with it now.
ANYWAY, there was more to working on SG than I expected because the game's brushed cel-shading highlights and shadows are actually baked right onto the textures. I tried to preserve as much of that as I could while cleaning things up. I'm guessing that I'm going to be working on more of these Rivals models, so that was some good practice.

"But Mr. Zeta," you may ask. "Does she really need an upgrade? And if she does, why not work on the new Fortnite version from Shinteo?"
Don't you worry, my friend– I plan on doing the Fortnite one too! But I don't believe that the Fortnite model is an upgrade in any significant way over the SMITE model. More like a sidegrade at best. The Book 4 outfit and hair are the best parts, but they're technically usable on both versions. So I'm making the SMITE version the primary and basing the Fortnite model's pack on this update.
I had a few new ideas that I really wanted to experiment with. Namely customizable static eye highlights, less discolored skin textures, a more refined take on the Avatar State's emissive eyes, and "realistic" pale palms and soles which can be enabled or disabled at your discretion. I also really wanted to tweak the colors to better match the color palette of the character model sheets from the series that are available in the official art books. My previous work on her looked somewhat off-model compared to those and it bugged me.
That said, you can still view and download version 1.0 from the link in case you do prefer the look of that pack. Feel free to mix and match them. :)

Surprise!
So I had the thought of putting together an extra little gift for my supporters this Christmas. Usually I decide on this sort of thing entirely by myself (as I did with the recent Claire Redfield pic for Halloween), but I'm not 100% sure what to leave under the tree in this case. So I'm running a third poll! And it's open to not only all of my paid members, but also my free members as a token of my thanks for your support and attention this year. I very much appreciate it.

Managing the Venus Islands for Zack, especially during the Venus Festival, takes a real toll on the Boss and his subordinates. The best way to deal with that huge amount of stress? Some old-fashioned fun with the beautiful Venuses themselves.
Behind closed doors might be the more typical venue, but there's also the unmatched comfort of the resort club's VIP box where the sounds of the DJ's music and the partying down on the dance floor muffle the more obscene noises coming from the half-closed balcony above. Some of the Venuses need a little extra incentive to participate, especially so close to prying eyes and with multiple partners. Others, like Marie Rose, are just as eager for a more intense, carnal experience and love to blow off steam with the resort staff without any qualms or strings attached. This is always her favorite part of any trip to the islands!

Considering how popular some of these DOA girls are, I'm actually a little surprised it took this long to get around to playing with one for the monthly render. Marie Rose is one of my favorites along with Nyotengu, Honoka, Helena, Lisa, Christ–I'm just gonna list half the damned roster of the series if I keep going. But it was a treat to work on something with her again after so long, and I'll probably try to include DOA girls in the polls more often.

Fun fact: Rainbow Mika is my favorite Street Fighter girl! ♥
Not-so-fun fact: her Street Fighter V model can be a real pain to work with.
The quality of the body itself, especially the face, isn't great. More annoying than that is the fact that the the scalp/base of her default hair is baked right onto the body textures. Gross.
So this is my first release using Daz Studio's geoshell feature because I couldn't think of a better way to separate the hair for proper modification in a way that wouldn't interfere with the figure. This'll make using geografts on her a little less convenient but still perfectly doable if you know your way around layering shells in Daz.
