Image Blurb Guidelines

This post is to both explain what the Blurb idea is, and explain the rules behind it. 

First, what is an image blurb?

The simplest answer is that someone gives me an image, I look at it, and I write out up to ~360 words of a story blurb that comes to mind while looking over it. Sometimes I get a great idea, sometimes I get a less great one, but I almost always get one. New Reward Explanations

Hello everyone. As promised, here’s the explanation for the new tiers that I put together for the patreon. Most of the prices are staying the same, but some of the rewards have been removed, and some have been altered. Let’s do a quick overview of those.

Removed Rewards

We are no longer going to be doing ‘bonus stories’ for the month. I failed to deliver on those for far too long, and I don’t want anyone to be paying into something that they aren’t get...

After putting forth the new reward tiers to patrons on discord, they are mostly integrated here. I am putting off one change until October, but for now, the new rewards are posted under tier benefits. A full explanation of them all will be posted tomorrow morning/afternoon.

End of August Updates

Okay, well, time to get into things a bit again. 

As we've all seen, this year has been...weird. I'm working on being better, but no idea how that's going to happen. I appreciate everyone that's been staying with me this long, but I'm still sorry that some of you pledge for higher stuff and have to wait for their rewards sometimes.

Final Story of 2021

I thought I'd do a little bit of a personal/vent story. It's not the best thing that I've written, and I genuinely meant for it to be a bit of a holiday appreciation thing, but some of my own feelings bled through.

Update for Next Year (SERIOUSLY, Read)

Okay, everyone. Let’s be honest. This last year was…a bit rough, all things considered. No series were finished, there were upheavals in how things were done, some rewards didn’t really materialize the way that they were supposed to (and for that, I appreciate your understanding, thank you), and I kind of bounced all over the place, just trying to keep things working rather than doing what I should have done and made it better. 

So. 2021 is coming to a close, which...

CYOA: Keep, Replace, or Drop To $10 Tier?

I keep trying to run the CYOA for patrons of the $20/$40 tier, but it seems to either never hold much attention, or be something that most people can't get to, because the last few times not enough people showed up to actually run it. It has seldom drawn much of a crowd, anyway. So, let's just ask straight-out. Shall I: 

-Drop it to $10/$20/$40 tiers, so that there's more access to it?

-Replace it with something else (suggestions welcome)?

-Keep it as is, and just treat...

I have been doing more and more of the patreon stuff via discord, but let me ask. Should there be more posts here, beyond the occasional update of file sharing? Do you want to see me do more things here? Update with ideas, or...well, whatever other things you might want to mention? 

I also want to bring up that it is near the end of the year, and despite all the shifts I've made, we still haven't actually finished a series. I'm kind of wondering if it would be better to change thin...

Changes to Patreon

Hey, everyone, just wanted to update you with a bit of a change going on. Some new stuff has gone into the reward tiers, and I wanted to give you all a chance to take a gander. In addition, I want you to have a chance to prepare for a few other changes that are taking effect in August.

Shared Universe Opinions?

Hey, everyone, just wanted to get your opinion about something.
