Whataburger (Throwback Thursday)

so y'all probably know that we mostly like to take film photos when we're out and about, which means we have to get through a roll of 36 photos, then get the film developed and scanned. so... sometimes there's a bit of downtime in between new photos of our travels. and that's why we're introducing THROWBACK THURSDAY... for weeks when we don't have new photos. 😄

Sneek and Groningen (with bonus photos)

Lil' sneak preview for y'all. We went to Sneek, Franeker, and Groningen to record two vlogs and here are the photos we took. To be honest, we took a lot of the Polaroids for y'all during this trip so that's why there aren't a ton of other photos... and our hotel was pretty meh. The view from our window was a giant photo of Leeuwarden attached to a brick wall. 😂

We love Friesland and we love Groningen. We will absolutely be back. Just at a different hotel!

Zaanse Schans:

This place was bananas. I don't think I would say we had a good time, but we certainly didn't have a bad time. Neither of us are big into crowds. We did have some surprisingly good food though, and of course, the scenery was absolutely beautiful. I'd like to go back... in the off season.

Rotterdam:

We Returned to Utrecht... for a Sandwich :)

We had been craving Broodje Mario for a couple of months, so we decided to hop on the train for Utrecht and get a sandwich... and some ice cream too.

...but things didn't quite work out as we had planned. 😅

we’ve been busy!

We filmed 4 vlogs last week and now we’re working through editing 4 vlogs. 😅 So we decided to treat ourselves with some big ol’ spicy burritos.

Our video today is about the Pasar Malam Indonesian food festival here in the Netherlands. We tried a TON of amazing Indonesian food - and a lot of it we’ve never had before. We found a private movie theater in Rotterdam!

This was really cool. And to be honest, we needed this after the crazy day at Zaanse Schans.

We went to Rotterdam to see a movie in a private movie theater inside the Hotel New York, and then went to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants in all of the Netherlands.

funnily enough (you see this in our "what we eat in a day" video from last year), a boat came by and asked if we were shooting anything 18+... and i guess... that depends? haha
