I was messing around with a prototype for a dungeon tileset. I figured I'd share it! This is what I'm considering putting together for the milestone, see. The idea is that every part of the walls would be cut into square segments, arranged into a grid, and you'd be able to assemble whole buildings and dungeons, arranged on separate layers. One of the catches is that the program, Tiled, doesn't support fancy features like ambient o...

Here's a quick look at the new map! It's actually almost finished by now, but if I published now, you guys would get charged five times for April and only three times in May, and that'd be a bit of a bother, so the release has been pushed to Friday. Keep your eyes peeled!

I can't believe the massive surge of support I got over the last couple of days. My subscriber count doubled. That's four times my rate of growth so far! More importantly, the first goal I had set out - $50 per map - has been exceeded by a large margin! The original event I had put down to mark it was a pack of free assets, but I started to question the value of that back when I changed my art style to incorporate detailed lighting and shadows - at which point it became somewhat hard...

Time to do some voting! The rules are simple:
- Everyone gets to vote for as many maps as they want.
- Whichever has the highest number of votes by noon next Sunday will get drawn.
- In the event of a tie, I'll flip a coin. If the tie involves a patron-submitted suggestion, I'll default to the patron suggestion.
- The rest go into my bin of possible future maps, if I run out of ideas.

Surprise, bonus map! This week's map is the Grand Hall, an enormous and decadent dining hall, and it comes with a free extra map, the Bridge, which is available to non-patrons for free!
The Grand Hall could represent a high-class restaurant, an emperor's banquet, or (as intended) a cruise liner's primary eatery. The Bridge is an angular, glowing command deck, which I'd like to imagine could be used for a space-ship as well. You might have to cover up the wood somehow, t...

It's a good day to murder a royal - or at least it is if your party is as unruly as mine. Or perhaps you're looking to defend them? Invade a hostile aristocrat's home? Assassinate a wealthy baron? Although the name speaks to palace complexes, I bet you could find a lot of uses for a fancy bedroom like this.
Particular architectural features include a set of adjustable curtains, a secret back-entrance usable as either an escape route or a convenient (and stealthy) way in...

Good morning, I say despite the fact that it's midnight, because you'll probably read this in the morning, relatively speaking! It's another commissioned map, a ship's engine room. The obvious connection is to use it with the cruise ship maps, but in practice, I've done my best to ensure it's usable for virtually any vessel, or even land-based installations. There's also a bonus smaller map, also part of the commission, which is included with the download and free for all patrons!

Good mornin', new map! Jungle waterfall won the poll, so that's what I drew.
Initially, I tried painting the map instead of drawing it, but it turned out badly once I realized that I'm really, really bad at painting palm trees - probably because I've never had to do it before, and my brushes weren't designed for painting to begin with. That ate up most of my Monday, so this project took maybe 25 hours to draw total. Not great. Anyways:

Frankly, "the burrows" is a bit of a misnomer for this collection - none of them are particularly burrow-y and you might in fact be wise to point out that most of them appear to be mineshafts. But I had named the folder "The Burrows" when I first set up the folder structure, so I guess I'm stuck with that.
Good morning, you might notice that there's a really stupid image instead of my normal splash today, and that's because this map is a bunch of smaller maps based around a com...

Time for a public poll, because I'm confused. I've got approximately three ways to draw rock walls now, and I can't settle on which one looks best. So, I'm going to sit on the idea for a bit and see what the feedback is like.
Edit: I punched in one of the URLs wrong, whoops. The first fracture-lines image should be this: https://i.imgur.com/pG3NroI.png

I've been stuck in a strange place with my detailing, torn between various design philosophies and questioning my work, but I'm hard at work on the new map anyways. Or should I say maps?
Next week's map will be a series of segmented, individual maps, typically between 7 and 15 tiles in either dimension. They'll all be themed roughly the same - underground mines and associated structures - and each successive tier will have access to more of the maps. This also serves as some gr...

It's poll time! Everyone gets to vote for next week's map - that means the map drawn between March 29th and April 4th. This poll will run all week, so hopefully everyone will get a chance to see it and cast a vote.
You can cast a vote for as many maps as you want, so feel free to vote for two or more if you like them both. In the event of a tie, I'll either use a random number generator, or default to a patron-submitted option.

Good morning, here's the next map! This one was also a commission, in the same line as the last one, and it's a bit more complex because I ran out of ideas. This also might be the most variant-y set of variants I've made so far.
- The base map is a much more fully-fledged Pokemon arena, suitable as a gym, trials for the League, or just to entertain the ship's passengers.
- The Supporter variants are wildly different for once! They're gym maps...
