Gogo is such a seigacore character it's a surprise that I've never drawn her before.

Heyo. This week's stuff is on the way. Weekly Art is being colored right now [these anime characters have really complex designs ohughghugh] and ought to be finished late tonight, and a progress update on animation work will be posted for ADC subs tomorrow! Regarding animation! It's been a busy week with plenty of slowdowns, including but not limited to life obligations and software-related technical hitches (the latter of which I'll be detailing in an animation update post). Despite all that, the work is progressing and my schedule has cleared up for the next few weeks, so I'll be posting the week's animation update on either Thursday (27) or Friday (28).

The suggestion box entry for this one was very clear about the sheer size of this lass. I don't normally go for this sort of scale, but... considering that the current animation project is going to work with a far more moderate type of expansion, I think it all balances out in the end.
Halfway through May already? Lordy lord.
What little I know about the NMH series tells me that characters are dysfunctional, have horrible backstories, and die horrible deaths. But I prefer not to think about that when drawing my stuff, if I can help it.

I'm calling this one done! Damn. I tried a couple of different things here, some things I'm fond of, some that were an absolute pain in the ass. There's about 70 character frames. Not quite as many frames as the blueberry one, but way WAY more layers and still quite a big project all told.
What's next? Well, a break week from animation at least. My wrist has been getting better and I want to ensure I keep any strain ...

I'm not gay but I would smash him to absolute pieces.
Been making good forward strides and have a good number of these final frames lined, but as a result things are in a bit of an awkward middle phase that won't look very good when exported as a WIP. So I figure it's better to wait another week so that there's a solid chunk of progress to show off instead.

I really didn't expect this to become a three part sequence. But ADC ask and they shall receive! I'm half expecting to see a request for Callie in the next suggestion box.
The size on part two was already pretty large, so it was a tricky balancing act to not go too big with part three while also still feeling like forward progression from the previous. This is surely the last part of this sequence, right? Right...?!

I'll be honest. I think this week I uncorked all my Crazy. Just kinda let it all out. The brainworms completely took over and led to some out-there content. I don't think I'm going to keep with that direction. Mostly because it tends to result in such a high density of detail. But it's fun once in a while.
On the plus side, I think I've found a good process for consistent shading results! Woo.

It's complete! Both the bulge and bulgeless variants. Consider one straight up Male BE, and the other more of a TG/TF situation.
A colored and shaded, fully hand-drawn 40 frame animation turned around in just over a month! I feel like this bodes really well for the release frequency of other animation works as long as I don't go overboard in length or detail.
